Beatrice Daily Sun ALMANAC Tuesday, June 1, 1999 A-5 DEATHS AND FUNERALS Orville R. Hart BILLINGS, Mo. Orville R. Hart, 78, Billings, died Friday, May 28, 1999, at the Cox Medical Center South in Billings. He and his wife had lived in Billings for 13 years.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War Il and was involved in several businesses, including a Western Auto Store and then of a mobile home park. Survivors: wife, Mabel (Rosendahl) Hart; daughter, Nancy Ann Ibrahim and husband Kamal of Republic, grandchildren, Daniel, Angela and Christopher Ibrahim; brother, Wayne A. Hart and wife Goldie of Tecumseh, sisters, Irene Gottula of Bella Vista, and June Clark of Fremont, Neb. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis A.

and Lela A. (Robinson) Hart; one brother; two sisters. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 2, Wherry Brothers Mortuary, Tecumseh, the Rev. Robert Schermbeck officiating.

She was born Sept. 11, 1907, and grew up on a farm near Western. She attended Western Public schools and helped on the family farm. On April 23, 1925, she married Friedrich Kirchoff in Belleville, Kan. They lived in Western and then moved to Plymouth, where they owned and operated a cafe before moving back to Western, where she was a cook for Western schools.

During the past several years, she had made her home at the Wilber Care Center. Survivors: sons, Darwin Kirchoff and wife Marlene of De Witt and Paul Kirchoff and wife Carol of Milford; daughter, Marilyn Kirchoff of Milford; grandchildren, Greg Kirchoff and wife Marcia of Wilber, Jennifer Burger of Beatrice, Sammy Kirchoff of De Witt, Judy Ganoung and husband Phil, Janice Kirchoff, all of Lincoln, Mary Amory and husband Les of Milford; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Vernon Yost and wife Olga of Twin Falls, Idaho, Russell Yost and wife Frances of Richmond, sister, Hattie Mueller of Ogden, Utah. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Mary Ann (Long) Yost; husband, Friedrich Kirchoff (Nov. 16, 1987); brothers, Floyd, Lloyd, Coy and Clyde Yost; sister, Laura Rhynalds. Elizabeth "Bessie" Spradling FAIRBURY Elizabeth "Bessie" Spradling, 91, Fairbury, formerly of Mahaska, died Saturday, May 29, 1999, at the Jefferson Community Health Center, Fairbury. She was born May 16, 1908, at rural Fairbury. Survivors: son, Gary Spradling and wife Faye of Oklahoma City, grandchildren, Mahawta Hargis and husband John of Oklahoma City, and Sgt. Brian Spradling and wife Ulrike of Anchorage, Alaska; great-granddaughter, Sara Kaye Spradling of Anchorage, Alaska.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John H. and Wilhelmina (Krauter) Brouse; husband, Guy; one grandson; one brother and one sister. Funeral services held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 1, Presbyterian Church, Mahaska, Pastor Randy Paul officiating. Burial: Mahaska Cemetery.

Memorials to the Presbyterian Church, Mahaska. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home, Fairbury. Denise Jean "Bubbs" Schmitz BELTON, Mo. Denise Jean "Bubbs" Schmitz, 42, Belton, died Saturday, May 29, 1999, at the Baptist Medical Center in Kansas City. She was born Nov.

3, 1956, in Pawnee City, and attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she received her bachelors degree as a certified public accountant. After returning to school, she received her masters degree in nursing from Bryan School of Nursing in Lincoln. On Jan. 11, 1989, she married Edwin Joseph Schmitz in Colorado Springs, Colo. They lived in Lincoln and then moved to Belton, where she was a registered nurse and the director of nursing at The Manor in Kansas City, Kan.

She was a member of the American Paint Horse Association, and a very active member of Second Chance for Life. She was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary in Pawnee City, and the Lenexa Christian Center i in Lenexa, Kan. Survivors: husband, Edwin; son, Joseph Belton; parents, Ray and Gleneva (Gergens) Pawnee City, brother, Ron Auxier of City, Neb. She was preceded in death by her band, Ronald Schmitz. Funeral: 1 p.m.

On Feb. 19, 1939, he married Rita Catherine Pettinger in Steinauer. They lived in the Burchard area all of their lives. Survivors: daughters, Carolyn Ann Parde and husband LeRoy H. Janice M.

Fix and husband James; sons, Dale G. Lunsford and Jerome D. Lunsford; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Rosaline Rollf. She was born on Jan. 5, 1916, near Adams and lived in the Adams all of her life. She attended Hooker Rural School and was a 1935 graduate of Adams High School. She and Delmar Hobbs were married in Adams and lived on a farm south of Adams for 33 years before moving into Adams in 1981. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Adams and the women's church circle; and a past member of the Friendship Club.

Survivors: nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Louise Hobbs of Cross Timers, Mo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmar W. Hobbs, on Jan. 13, 1989; parents, C. William and Hattie (Kritner) Fritz; and sisters, Elsie Mahler, Milda Joekel and Florence Rabel.
