Sunday School at usual hour, with the Rupt. present. Rev. Clark, pastor, taught the lesson and at 11 a. Kev.

McGrue preached an excellent sermon to the delight of all present. At p. Rev. I Cnlmelions of l.isco preached a wonderful sermon and our congregation was delighted with his efforts. This was our first quarterly conference of the year.

Our presiding elder made things look brighter for Ranger. Seven new members were added to our church this quarter. Rev. Clark's wife is sick listed: we hope for her a speedy recovery. Lone Oak.

Sunday was very dull on account of the cool weather. The Heroines of Jericho are preparing for their annual palm services. Lone Oak school was winner in the contest held at Rirklnnd, last Friday. Little Miss Frankie Whytus was the winner. Mrs.

A. Phillips celebrated his birthday last Tuesday night at his residence and a four course luncheon was served. A Citizen's Community Business club was organized by a number of citizens who assembled at the Corzlnes' hall Thursday night. This should be an inspiration to our enterprises. Mrs.

Jariner and children of Colorado are visiting her sister. Mrs. Sarah Kelley. The Itasca choir will render music for the Shiloh Baptist church rally on the 2nd Sunday. Mrs.

Garner of Fort Worth, was here in in interest of her mission work at church. Mesdames Fannie Smith of Denver, and Sue Green of Ilenriette. and Mr. Robert Gee of Oklahoma City are at the bed side of their sick mother. Mrs.

Tyler. Sunday was high day at all churches. The faithful members of the M. E. church are erecting a neat par-sonhge on their lot, corner Common and Liberty streets.

They gave a concert, held quarterly conference Friday and Saturday night before the second Sunday and ended up with a rally on Sunday at True Vine, raising $90.00.
