Penndel Auxiliary Sets Party Plans WSCS Slates Bazaar The Society of Christian Service of the Wilkinson Memorial Methodist Episcopal Church, Croydon, was entertained at the home of their new pastor and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Dewees, in Norristown, on Monday evening. Twenty two women made the trip by bus, including a new member, Mrs. Herb, Croydon Acres.

A business meeting was held, preceded by devotions led by Mrs. Irene Ramus. Plans for the Christmas bazaar, to be held in the church hall on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, were discussed.

A snack bar will be open both nights. Potato salad, hot dogs and hamburgers and other items will be on sale for dining at the bazaar or boxed for taking home. The hours will be 6 to 10 p.m. on Friday evening and 4 to 9 p.m. on Saturday evening Merchandise will be on sale at several booths for Christmas.

On December 17, the organization will have its annual Christmas supper followed by a candle lighting service and a Christmas play. Mrs. Isabella Rice is chairlady. It was decided to give the proceeds of the bazaar to the trustees for payment of a repair note. Christmas baskets will be given to two needy families of the community.

A Joint meeting of the Senior and junior auxiliary will take place Dec. 14, at the Post Home, at which time the Junior Auxiliary will hold its Christmas party. LBC Nurses Association Has Meeting Mrs. Louise Kutney presented a resume of the Lower Bucks County Registered Nurses Association assistance in the Civil Defense program at the regular meeting at the Fairless View School. President Mary Sabol presided at the meeting.

A demonstration of hair atyjing and a talk on hair care was pre sented by Louis Pirri, of Bristol Models for his demonstration were Yolanda Valponi and Mary Roche. The models wore fashions from the Brogan Dress Shop in Bristol. Refreshments were served at the close of the meeting. The next meeting December 17 will feature a Christmas party. The Junior auxiliary held a meeting Nov.

12, at the Post Home. Miss Kathleen McLoughlin, new elected president, presided. The group helped to fill Christmas boxes which will be sent to the veterans hospKals by the Senior auxiliary.
