Sherman, May The announcement that the fire department boys will hereafter make all ordinary repairs on the motor-driven equipment at the lire-house brings out the interesting information from Fire Chief Tait that the cost of repairs on the fire truck for 1917 amounted to only $39.60. The repairs on the hose wagon for the same period amounted to $6.15. Two additional motor vehicles are now to be taken care of however, the police auto and the ambulance. A new set of four tires was recently purchased for the big truck, costing $400. These tires are guaranteed for live years.
