The coal minos at Danville, on this lino, aro extensively and profitably worked, and FURNISH BUSINESS FOR OVER THREE HUNDRED COAL CARS ON THIS LINK AT PRESENT, and more than TWICE THAT NUMBER WILL BE REQUIRED to carry coal on completion of the remaining link. From tbe present earnings on 170 milCB, it is safo to as sume that the LOCAL BUSINESS ALONE WILL BE AMPLE NOT ONLY TO PAY THE BONDED DEBT, BUT LARGE DIVIDENDS ON THE STOCK.

Inadditon to tbo populalion and wealth of the country, and al! that is neoessary to support first class road and make it a profitable investment through local tratllc, it forms a grand central trunk lino for throngb buBinoss, NOT SURPASSED BY ANY HOAO OF EQUAL LErfGTH IN THE WEST. At Indianapolis it connocts by main linos with tho Citios of Columbus, Cloveland, Pittsburg, and Cincinnati nnd with the Pennsylvania Coutral, Baitimoro and Ohio, Chesapeake and Ohio, and other important railroad lines. At Pok'n, ho western terminus. connections are mndc vAii Pooria, Quincy, Kookuk, Burlington, and Omaha. At Bloomington with the Illinois Central Road, which runs northwest 600 miles to Fort Dodge, Iowa.

A very largo businoss will bo done with this lino. At Danville it connocts by rail with Tolodo, on Lako Erie. A map will show all theso to bo very important connections in making through Vinos over this routo. Tho Loan is placed boyond any contingency by tho present earnings from local traffic on 170jnilos, which must necessarily bo doublo whon tbq trains run through. THE BONDS ARE CONVERTIBLE, at tho option of the holder, into at par at any time, which ulds groatly to tboir valuo.
