Mrs. Hyatt is survived a daughter and son-in-law, Dr. Marian and Dr. Martin Jerry of Calgary; two grandsons, Paul and his wife Leslie, and Marc; and a great granddaughter, Maeghan Elizabeth. She was predeceased by her husband Frank in 1984.

Mrs. Hyatt was born in Mersea Township. She graduated from the London Normal School in 1925 and taught school in the Wheatley District for many years. In 1933 she married Frank Hyatt and they farmed in the Wheatley Area. In 1987 Mrs.

Hyatt went to Calgary where she has resided. Her interest was to encourage young people to be educated. Funeral Services held at the Trinity Lodge, Calgary, on Thursday September 8, 1994. A Graveside service will be held at the Erie Cemetery, Wheatley, Saturday, September 10, 1994 at 11:00 am with Rev. Olav Kitchen officiating.
