The wheat market was weakened this morning by a variety of conditions, chief among which were the heavy receipts of spring wheat on increase of 1,680,000 bushels In the amount of wheat oo passage to Europe and a decline of ld in the early cable from Liverpool.

To offset this array or bear news was a slight falling off in world's shipments and less favorable threshing returns tram the Northwest. Prices opened a cent lower at 93c for December but rail led subsequently to 94 He. Except for a little foreien selling the early speculative trade was mostly loca. Snow was out with another estimate, making the total crop 590,000,000 bushels or over one hundred millions in excess of the last government figures. This, of course, handicapped hull efforts to rally the market by encouragtag free sales on the bulges.

December sold up to 94 and at 1 o'clock was 94. It held very steady in spite of the big increase in the visible of 2.905,000 bushels, which was larger than expected. The market became strong on the rumor of 21 loads for export. By 1:30 It was 94 for December. At Chicago there was a weak opening In wheat to day, December starting at compared with Sunday's closing price of 91 c.

It was due mainly to the sharp break at Liverpool, a decline of ld. being reported at that market. The continued heaviness of Northwest receipts was also a bearish influence. Minneapolis and Duluth reported 1,427 cars against 1,313 last week and 1,557 a year ago. The drought west, which is attracting considerable attention, started shorts to buying the opening.

St. Louis market was up a cent and Paris showed a 15a45 centimes advance. World's shipments amounted to 9,361,000 bushels, almost 60 per cent, of which The world's wheat exports from the principal countries: Bliss B. Dutclmr. Edward E.
