Dec. 21 V-Mrs. Alice Long, widow of a prominent Jurist and a witness of more than half a century of New Mexico's development, died at her home here yesterday at the age of 81. She was the mother of Boat Long, the United States Minister to Ecuador, and the widow of the late Elfsha V. Long, once' chief Justice of the Territory of New Mexico.

Judge Long died In 1928.
