Clark read the single ring ceremony for the couple at the parsonage of A red, white and blue color scheme was chosen for the party and the luncheon table was beautifully decorated with red berries, and lighted candles in the tri-colors.

Bridge was the diversion of the afternoon, Enid Perrlah winning the first prize, Gladys Jensen, second; and Stella Erwin, third. Reva Benton drew the consolation award, Thora Ballard, the door trophy, and a guest gift was presented to Emma Hausmann, houseguest of Mrs. Barney. A springtime wedding had been planned to take plaoe in San Bernardino, but the fortunes of war changed the plans, The groom was given a furlough, and visited his parents before leav Muscoy Clubwomen Celebrate Yuletide At Luncheon Event Muscoy Woman's club celebrated the Yuletide at its regular meeting, held Wednesday at the community building.

Beautiful decorations were in place for the day, Chester Stone and E. C. Brims, husbands of two of the committee members, assisting with the arrangements. The ceiling was draped with streamers from which were suspended Christmas ornaments of all kinds and on the stage was a bower of greenery, Including holly and mistletoe, and a glittering tree. Tables for luncheon were arranged in a double with red streamers down the center and candles, berries and miniature snowmen alternating, and place cards were clever felt pine cones, to be worn on the lapel.

A group of doll carol singers made a pretty picture on a. small table at the point of the V. After luncheon mystery friends Joined hands and played "drop the handkerchief," in this manner revealing their identities. The club decided to discontinue the mystery friend feature for the duration of the war but will choose names for the Christmas gift exchange next year, as usual. Mrs.

Harley Boone, club president, was presented with a gift of crystal. The program opened with carols and Miss Lois Jean Boone sang "The Birthday of a King" and 'Tm Dreaming of a White Christmas," and Mrs. Jack Webster sang "Can-tique de Noel," with Mrs. F. C.

Forbes accompanying both. Jack Stone, son of the committee chairman, presented a puppet show as a special entertainment for the afternoon. Plana were discussed for another turkey dinner, similar to the one held during the Thanksgiving season, for New Year's day, and it was announced that the nutrition class completed its course and took the examination last week. Mrs. F.
