Charged with receiving goods from boys, Edward J. Jackson, of Oly phant, a. the court to release him from the cou" jail yesterday afternoon, on a of habeas corpus, on the ground t', he is "unjustly deprived of hi liberty." The court granted the writ and made it returnable on Monday morning. On the charge of stealing shoos from Glazier's store in Olvphant four boys were arraigned before Squire Rogan on January 25. They entered pleas of guilty, and stated they stole the shoes to sell them to Jackson, who paid $2 a pair for them.

A lunch wagon adjoins the store, whore th boys said they brought the shoes, and Jackson came for them. Sentence was suspended In the case of the boys, but Jackson was arrested on their testimony.
