Hundreds came out of respect to pay their last tribute of respect to the.dead. He was a man highly esteemed by a large acquaintance of friends throughout the valley, and his death is regretted.

At 9 o'clock the funeral procession moved to the Sacred Heart church, where a requiem high mass was celebrated by Rev. J. W. Healey over the remains. Interment followed in a family plot of the Catholic cemetery at Avoca.

"The Right of Blessing" will be the subject of Rev. H. G. Russell In the Primitive Methodist church tomorrow morning, and In the evening his topic will be "Swellings of Jordan." Miss Susie Davis, of South Second street, who Is ill of pneumonia, was able to sit up awhile yesterday, Samuel Pryor, of street, Is ill. of bronchitis.

John Lenane, of South Main street, spent the past few days with his family in Sohoes, N. Y. On his eturn here he was accompanied by his son, John Lenane, and James Hogan, of Co hoes. N. Y.
