1 IT Ift THEREFORE hereby enacted as a by-taw of the Corporation of the City of Vanler as follows: 1 vThat the streets In the City of V.inler. as outlined In Schedule be retevetted and reconstructed, including tha adjustment of manholes and catchbaslns. 2 That the Engineer tor the Corporation of the City of Vanler, or some 'person or persons designated by Council, shall cause to be made forthwith such plans, profiles and specifications, and furnish such information as may be necessary tor the execution of the said work by way of contract and that public tenders be called for 3 Tho works shall be carried out and executed under the superintendence and according to the Instructions and orders of the City Engineer or such person or persons as may be designated by Council. 4 The Mayor and Clerk are authorized to execute a contract with McNeely. Lecompte and Associates' Limited tor the design and supervision of the construction of the works referred to herein.

5 -The Mayor and Clerk are authorized to execute a contract tor the undertaking and construction of the works referred to herein, with some person or persona, ftrrn or corporation, subject to the approval of Council to be declared by resolution. isendrng the sale of debentures, the City Treasurer may agree with any bank or persons for temporary advances of monies to meet the cost of the work, all ol which shall be Subject to the approval of Council. 1 The estimated cost of the works referred herein Is 91 1 3.000.00 less estimated grants from the Ontario Ministry of Transportation and Communications of $45,000.00 leaving an estimated balance of (68.000.00 to be paid by way of municipal debentures to be issued by the Regional Municipality of Ottawa-Carleton on behalf of the City of Vanler, the payment ot which shall be levied against aN the rateable property within tha City ot Vanler over a period ot not exceeding ten years. 8 The rJebentures to be Issued to pay for the cost of the work when completed, shall bear Interest at such rate, aa the Council of the Corporation ot the Regional Municipality ot Ottawa-Carleton shaN deter- ft This by-law shaN toko eftocl when approved by the Ontario Municipal Board.
