Beloved husband of Erna (Midge) (nee Schneider). Loving father of Karen (Mark) VerHage of No. Haledon and Thomas M. Zangara of Saddle Brook.

Proud grandfather of Ryan, Lauren and Jaclyn. Dear brother of Benjamin (Sadie) Zangara of Garfield and the late Joseph, Leonard and Vincent Zangara. Brother-in-law of Anna and Frances of Garfield. Mr. Van Wettering was born September 8, 1941 in Teaneck, New Jersey son of Florence Wolter Van Wettering of Phenix City and the late Cornelius Van Wettering. He was employed by West Point Stevens in maintenance and was a former assistant scout master. Mr. Van Wettering was an avid fisherman and hunter and was a member of St.

Stephens Episcopal Church. He was preceded in death by two uncles, Wilbur and Henry Van Wettering. Other than his mother is survived by his wife of 43 years, Dolores Van Wettering of Opelika, AL. Two sons, Guy Van Wettering and wife Mandie of Opelika, AL. Tad Van Wettering and wife Marie of Opelika, AL.

Grandchildren, Jonathan and Rebecca Van Wettering and Jakob Van Wettering. Niece and Godchild, Christina Maloof, sister, Joyce Van Wettering of Salem, AL, brother Neil Van Wettering and wife Mary of LaCreame Valley, CA. Three brother-in-laws, Bill Traughber of Opelika, AL, John Woitasek and wife Irene of Smiths, AL, Robert E. Barnes of Buelah, AL. Nieces and nephews Daniel Barnes, Jay Hunt, Mary Sanders, Linda Reyal and John Woitasek, Jr.

and Sherrie Lunsford and several great-nieces and nephews. He will always be remembered as a loving and devoted husband and father. WILCZYNSKI Eugene, on September 18, 2005 of Rutherford, NJ, age 72. Born in Miami, she lived in Fair Lawn before moving here. A graduate of Paterson General School of Nursing, she was a registered nurse in the emergency room at St.

Joseph's Hospital, Wayne, for more than 30 years. She received the Achieving Clinical Excellence Award for Nursing Care in 2003. Surviving are her husband, Robert a daughter, Jennifer Rickert; a sister, Nancy Citelli; and three grandchildren. Moore's Home for Funerals, 1591 Alps is in charge of arrangements. Sept.

20, 2005 John Rock WAYNE John V. Rock, 66, died Saturday. Born in Paterson, he lived in Little Falls before moving here 40 years ago. He worked at Mutual of New York Insurance New York City, for 30 years as chief executive officer, president and asset manager. He was a graduate of Lafayette College and New York University.

An Army veteran, he was stationed in Germany during the construction of the Berlin Wall. He was a member of the Packanack Golf Club. He was a member of the Hawthorne Gospel Church. Surviving are his wife, the former Clariss Steenstra; three daughters, Jocelyn Anderson of Middletown, Cynthia Mizzone of Mendham Borough and Joanna Clark of Boonton Township; a sister, Leslie Barnes of Caldwell; his mother, Wilhelmina of Little Falls; and five grandchildren. Mr. Arnone worked at AlliedSignal, Passaic, for 60 years before retiring. He was a World War II Army veteran. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Virgin R.C. Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Joyce A. Mrazik; two brothers, Patrick and Michael; and a sister, Kathryn Fornarucci. Surviving is a sister, Marie Stuck of Totowa. Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison is in charge of arrangements. Sept.

20, 2005 Thomas Zangara SADDLE BROOK Thomas A. Zangara, 76, died Monday. He lived in Garfield before moving here in 1957. Mr. Zangara was elected to Saddle Brook Borough Council in 1963 and became mayor in 1969.

He was named business administrator in 1989. He previously served as police commissioner. He was a former business administrator of Bloomingdale and a former assistant business administrator of Parsippany-Troy Hills. A Korean War Air Force veteran, he was a member of American Legion Post 415. He was a charter member of Saddle Brook UNI CO, a member of the Republican Club, a founder and charter member of the Independent Club, an honorary life member of the Fire Department and a member of the Lions Club.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph, Leonard and Vincent. Surviving are his wife, the former Erna Schneider; a son, Thomas M. of Saddle Brook; a daughter, Karen VerHage of North Haledon; a brother, Benjamin of Garfield; and three grandchildren. Pietrowicz, a homemak-er, was was a member of the Carl-stadt Senior Friendship Club. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph's RC. Church, East Rutherford. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Peter Di-Pasquala, and her second husband, John F.

Pietrowicz. Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Robertella of Clifton; two stepsons, David Pietrowicz of Watchung and Dennis Pietrowicz of Wallington; a brother, Carmen Cava of Manchester Township; six grandchildren; and seven greatgrandchildren. Born in Wanaque, he later settled here. Mr. Monies was a laborer at Ramapo Lodge Motel, Oakland, for 40 years before retiring in 1996. He was a World War II Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Shirley Quick.

Surviving are a son, Edward of Wallington; a daughter, Linda Rivenburg of Thompson, two sisters, Helen McNick and Flora Morse, both of Bloomingdale; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
