THE RIGISTER.NEW5 MT, VERNON, ILLINOIS MONDAY, OCTOBER 1, 1951 Lf. Ira Bodine Ordered to Duty With U.S. Army Reserve Igt Lt. Ira C. Bodine, of 1016 Pace Avenue, has been ordered to report for active duty with tile S.

Army on October 15. He has been assigned to the 8th Ariti-Aircraft Artillery, Automatic Weapons Battalion, at Camp Lucas, near Sault Ste. Marie, Mich. Lt. Bodine spent 47 months in service during World War II, as an enlisted man, non-commissioned officer and officer.

He saw overseas service in the Philippines. At present he is employed as a machinist at the Jahn Trailer Division here. Lt. Bodine's wife, Mildred and sons, Jerry and Jimmy, will accompany hun to Sault Ste. Marie.

Bodine is the son of Mr. and Mrs J. S. Bodine of RFD 1, Mt. Vernon.

Mrs. Hughes was a member of the Varnell Rebecca Lodge 296 of Mt Vernon and had been a member of the Methodist church since childhood. She was united in marriage with Oliver M.

Hughes December 14, 1902. Her husband survives. Also surviving are one daughter Mrs. Paulina Marvel of Mt. Vernon; six sons.

Ira A. of West Frankfort, Alfred M. of Benton and Lawrence Lloyd Herman C. and Harvey of Mt Vernon; 18 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, who died in infancy one sister, Molly Green and her parents, Mr.

and Mrs. Herschel Sharp. Mrs. Alice Fons of Chicago will attend the funeral service in St. Paul Wednesday.

Rev. Moulding and Wife Back in Mt.V. The Rev. and Mrs. C.

W. Maulding have returned to Mt. Vernon to make their home at 716 north 11th street. The Rev. Maulding for the past four years has been pastor of the I Znsi 'Bh 'iMn BapUst church.

For 15 years he served as pastor of Khe Park Avenue church here and for three years as pastor of the East Side Baptist He has been called as pastor of the Ellis Mound Baptist church, where he served as pastor seven years ago.
