1. Satis fled that the jury in the Warrior Run election fraud case in which Professor Edward S. Williams figured as defendant, was hopelessly deadlocked, Judge Henry A. Fuller at noon yesterday discharged the jury. It had been deliberating for twenty four hours.

Report has it that they stood 10 to 2 for conviction on the first ballot, and that there was no change after that. The failure of the jury to reach an agreement caused not a little surprise. District Attorney W. Alfred Valentine is to place Williams' case at the head of the ll3t for the January term. Williams' acquittal at a former trial and the absence of an apparent motive in the present case, caused the split in the jury room.

Twice the jury came back, first asking to be discharged and later for instructions.
