Attractive decorations were used the lounge rooms, and clever tallies and score cards added to the charm of the affair. Announcement was made of a large Increase membership in the guild. Lovely prizes were awarded the winners, Miss Laura Glenn having been charge of them, and delicious refreshments were served afterwards. The guests included Mrs. Vera Lowndes.

Valentine decorations, the big hearts having golfing pictures on them, proved most attractive and amusing, and the splendid music was a delight to the dancers.

At Christmas time six baskets were delivered to needy families. A donation was given to the Victorian Order of Nurses. The society heard many outstanding speakers and other artists throughout the year. At the last meeting the retiring president, Mrs. H.

Lehmbeck. was presented with a set of sliver salad forks. Mrs. E. Atkinson and Mrs.
