Jimmy Bond and Jack McLaughlin Steal Show In Clever Draw. FOR three rounds Tiger Daula allowed Bonnie Muir to give him a flight workout in the headline wrestling bout at the Auditorium on Thursday night, then decided that it was time to finish matters, and in less than the space of two minutes he had thrown the big Australian twice and almost ruined his neck. Jimmy Bond of California held Jack McLaughlin of Vancouver to a draw in the semi-windup, each man securing a fall, while Nanjoo Singh, Tiger Daula's interpreter, beat Bob Armstrong of California In the three-round preliminary. Muir was outweighed ty at least thirty pounds and was no match la strength or tactics for the big East Indian. He spent most of the first three rounds picking himself off the mat or getting out of wrlstlocks, leg spreads and arm stretches.

Whenever be tried to clamp on a headlock Daula slipped his head away and hurled him across the ring. After finding out that flying tackles and rabbit punohes had little effect, Muir resorted to stamping on Daula's toes or slapping him about the head, but this was equally ineffective. BOND MAKES HIT. One minute after the fourHt round started Daula tossed Muir back with two headlocks, then crashed him heavily with two flying mares and fell across him for the first fall. Muir waa Just able to come up for the fifth round but In half a minute he had been thrown again with a couple of headlocks and a reverse body slam.

Daula was aald to weigh 235 pounds and Muir 208. The Bond-McLaughlin bout stole the show, and the California boy made such a hit by his clean, clever tactics that he received a tremendoua ovation on retiring from the ring. Beautifully built, Bond matched hold for hold with the Vancouver ace and waa every bit as fast. He never sought the sanctuary of the ropes; In fact he crawled away from them many times, even when In a bad hold. McLaughlin wrestled In similar manner, with the result that It was a bout full of action and clever tactics from start to finish.

ARMSTRONG TAKEN ILL. One man had no sooner eeoured a hold that his opponent was free and had clamped on a lock himself, every class of grip being utlllMd. Twice Mo-Laughlln hoisted Bond for an airplane spin, but each time the Calitornlan made a sudden grab for the ropes and held on.
