Phallpneer Duane Brassow, wife Eleanora have five Voters in Stevensville will pick three of six GOP village council trustee candidates in a primary election Monday. Three of the candidates are incumbents seeking re-election. The top three vote-getters will be the GOP candidates for elec-. tion to the three available, two-year council trustee seats in the March 13 general election. No Democrats filed nominat ing petitions for village offices.

Only the council trustee seats are the center of primary election races. Other village candidates, all Republicans and all unopposed, are incumbents Arthur Kasewurm, village president; Bernice Schoen-felder, village clerk; Erwin Fechner, village treasurer; and Robert Sturch, village assessor. (AP) City police won't enforce new regulations for double-bottom tankers on Interstate 75 or county roads until an Oakland County judge rules on an oil company lawsuit that seeks to overturn the ordinance. city, however, will enforce a new 25 mph limit against gasoline-carrying double-bottoms on Madison Heights streets.
