Early in the season, the Punxsy Jayvees whipped Kane, 54 35. While almost all the Punxsy reg ulars are juniors, every boy on the Kane junior varsity is a sophomore. That experience was the difference last night. Cesario, hitting well from outside led the visitors with 21 points. Teammates Culp and Heitzenrater had 11 and 10 points, respectively.

Bob Chavez, a real hustler, led Kane with 12 points. Punxsy grabbed a 13 6 lead by the end of the first period and led, 28 15, at halftime. Kane played Punxsy even, tn the third pe riod, but was outscored, 20 14, in the last period. Kane starters Chuck Benson and Fran Sirianni, both bright Kane prospects, were charged with 4 per. sonals each in the first half.

Siri anni fouled out with 2:49 left In the 3rd period. Benson was forced to play a cautious game in the last half. Kane made 18 per cent of its shots from the field in the first half, 30 per cent in the last half. Punxsy shot 28 and 35, in that order.
