the council will hold a public hearing of objections to the zoning by-law, which has been considering for the chast' month. This date was on Monday night when the council held a special sitting. The by-law has been thoroughly discussed in committee and all the proposed zones considered and in its opinion the measure is complete. However, it is necessary under the terms of the Town Planning Act to give any person whose property is affected an opportunity to make objection to any of the proposed zones. It is planned to prepare copies of a map detailing the various zones and have this circulated in the municipality.

Late William Lockwood Of Moose Jaw, Former Vancouver Resident Word has been received from Moose Jaw of the death recently of William Wallace Lockwood, for twelve years a resident of Vancouver, and before his retirement one of the largest wheat growers in Saskatchewan. Mr. Lockwood was born in Ontario sixty- nine years ago and farmed in that province for many years. In 1902 he moved west to Moose Jaw and was there until his retirement, twelve years ago.
