SATURDAYS 12 P.M. We Ask Your Co-operation LJ LJ iii BMir FroMikm At this season of the year we just cannot resist the urge to be outside and often without weighing the consequences of over indulgence. The result in many instances is that due to the Sun and Wind we too quickly acquire sunburn or windtan and our skin and hair suffer. There is no question that exposure to the Sun and Wind does rob the skin and hair of their natural supplies of oil and so if we are going to spend all possible time in the open we should make sure that we employ sufficient protection to the Skin and Hair. With that in mind your Tamblyn Drug Store this week has set up exhaustive displays of Eeauty Skin and Hair requisites and we recommend that you visit us as we are sure you will find some very worth while Aids to Beauty and at such economical prices as prevail in our list of Suggestions and Bargains for the Balance of the IVeeh SPECIAL To Size 5 7, Mounted in New Special FOTO FIT FRAME Very Attractive With Unbreakable Front In Colors Wine and Ivory 49 for 98 Colored Each Extra COJTEa NAIL POLISH New Shades Sugar Plum Rumpus Ginger Bread Sheer Natural REVLON Cream Nail Enamel As flattering to the nails as jewels are to the fingers.

200 TISSUES SERVICE STORES BRANTFORD, April 29. A street railway diamond originally valued at $60,000 is being demolished at Brantfords main downtown intersection, and it will yield 60 tons of steel for war purposes. A diamond of this type and size today would cost $80,000 but the scrap value of the steel is only $1,200. Its removal to provide bundles of grief for the axis will mean the dis appearance of one of the largest diamonds to be found anywhere in Canada, said Gerard Tetrault, president of Tetrault Brothers Limited, Montreal, the contracting firm which is now engaged in the removal of 1,100 tons of abandoned rails from Brantford streets.
