THE WISCONSIN JEWISH CHRONICLE Announcements of Recent Betrothal George Gross Takes Bride in Los Angeles Ceremony Lichtenstein-Miller Marriage Told The marriage of Miss Shirley Ruth Lichtenstein and Richard A. Miller is being anounced by Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Lichtenstein of Los Angeles, Calif. Mr.

Miller is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Miller, Green Bay, Wis. The wedding took place at Temple Emanuel in Beverly Hills, on April 7 at 1:30 p.m. Rabbi H.

Har- Esther Pittdman to Give Piano Recital Miss Esther Belle Pittelman will be featured in her own recital at the Milwaukee Art Institute on Sunday, May 1, at 3:00 p.m. The talented 15 year old pianist has won many interested followers through appearances on radio and television broadcasts. In the 1945 National Piano Auditions the youthful pianist was declared a winner because of her superior average. Mark Berman, violinist, will ter, was maid of honor wearing a chartreuse taffeta gown and carrying blue iris and yellow daffodils. Nadine Sherman, a cousin of the bride, was flower girl. Serving as best man for his sister's groom was Irvin Sherman. The bride is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin. Her affiliations include Sigma Lamda, Phi Kappa Phi and Phi Sigma Sigma. She is currently teaching art in a Los Angeles high school.
