Classifieds Stanley Joeckel in NYC. Subsequently he worked in the field of fused quartz before beginning his own company manufacturing industrial infrared equipment.

He was an elder and sang in the choir at Pompton Reformed Church and churches in Vero Beach. He is survived by his children, Anita Joeckel of Pompton Lakes and Beverly Van Genderen and husband Kurt of Holland, his grandchildren, Gail Harries (Bryan) of Columbia, S.C., Mark Van Genderen (Laura) of Cedar-burg, Wis. and Joanne Joliat (Jack) of Holland, his four great-grandsons; and four nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Fern Corteville of Williamson, N.Y.; his brother, Robert; and his two sisters-in-law. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m.

11. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. in 1914 he moved to Pompton Lakes two years later. He attended Central High School in Paterson, graduated from Hope College, Holland, Mich, in 1936, and took additional courses in mechanical engineering at NYU. In 1939 he married.

He moved to Glen Rock, then Pompton Lakes and finally Wayne, where he lived for 45 years. He moved to Vero Beach in 1994. The traditional Sunday service will continue to be offered at 10 a.m. Children can begin worship with their families and then leave after the children's message to engage in a Sunday school focusing on Bible stories and the history of the Christian faith. Or children may stay and worship with their parents. An informal, participatory and family-friendly service lasting 45-minutes will be held at 5:25 p.m.

Temple Beth Sholom The National Council of Jewish Women, Jersey Hills Section, will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 1 at Temple Beth GLEN ROCK Elsie Anna (Lagerveld) Nagelhout, 83, died on Feb. 19. Born and raised in Paterson, she lived there for most of her life before moving to Glen Rock 17 years ago. A graduate of Eastside High School, she worked as a florist for Lagerveld Florist, her family's business.

She was a member of Abundant Life Reformed Church in Wyckoff and a former member of Union Reformed CONGREGATIONS FROM PAGE 16 Christian singles The Not In Limbo Singles Network, a CatholicChristian singles group gathering for ages 40 and up, is dedicated to staying faithful in a world increasingly free of values and lasting peace. West Side Church The West Side Presbyterian Church Oratorio Choir is gearing up for its March 25 performance of Wappingers Falls, Laura Nagelhout of Mechanicsburg, Pa. and Melissa Nagelhout of Wappingers Falls; and her great-grandson, Eric Hepner. Vitiation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Feb.

24 at the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Ave. in Hawthorne. A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25, also at the funeral home, followed by interment at Fair Lawn Cemetery.

Sholom. Senator Loretta Weinberg will be the speaker. Non-members are welcome for a $5 admission fee. The Purim celebration begins with the Megillah reading at 6:30 p.m. on March 7, followed by a costume parade and refreshments.

Adults and children are encouraged to come in costume and bring their own groggernoise-maker. Everyone is also encouraged to bring either a box or bag of rice, pasta or any other shakable food item that will then be donated to the Fair Lawn Food Pantry. Purim services will continue with a Megillah reading at 9 a.m. on Thursday, March 8. The festivities will conclude at the annual Purim Carnival which will be held 10:30 a.m.

Christ Church A one-day retreat with The Rev. Barbara Crafton, priest and author will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25 at Christ Church.
