Bald, swimming in the girls 11-12 age category got her records in the 50 metre butterfly with a time of 32.78; 100 metre freestyle in 1:02.78 and the 400 metre free in 4:43.84. She also won the 50 metre backstroke, 200 metre individual medley, 100 metre butterfly and the 100 metre backstroke. Pat Lajoie of the Cornwall Sea Lions came through with outstanding performances with victories in the 100 and 200 metre freestyle, both Eastern Ontario records for boys 13-14. Kelly Yerxa of the Ottawa Kingflsh swept first place medals in the womens 800 metre freestyle, 400 metre individual medley, 100 metre butterfly, 200 metre freestyle and 200 metre backstroke.
