There are three positions open on the board and only two candidates who ran. Taylor received 825 votes and Wiebe received 619. Some voters wrote in a third candidate of their choice. As a write-in, Julio Bendezu received the most votes at 89, and several more votes under varied spellings of his name. Borough Clerk Jean Pelligra explained the process with the write-in votes. Pelligra said that the county clerk would have to decide if some of the votes for Bendezu under alternate spellings of his name would count. Even without all of these votes Oldtimers group is LODI - The Lodi Oldtimers have announced the opening of their annual scholarship program for 2016 and the annual Pam Pana-giotou Scholarship award program. The scholarships are open to high school seniors who have participated in any of the Lodi Little League baseball or softball programs for a minimum of three years. Three, $500 scholarships will be awarded. The Oldtimers will award one scholarship to a male and one to a female. The Pam Panagiotou Scholarship award program will award one scholarship and is open to both males and females. All applicants must meet the criteria set by the Lodi Oldtimers Little League: 1. Applicants must complete a scholarship application in full.
