Jack Weiner to Direct Camp Program Jack Weiner, city director of the B'nai B'rith Youth Organizations, has been named program director for Camp Sidney Cohen, it was announced by the joint committee on personnel.

Weiner comes to Camp Sidney Cohen with quite a background in the field of camping. In 1942, he served as water-front director at Camp Whitcomb for the Milwaukee Boys Club. For the last two years, Weiner was connected with St. Johns Military Academy and during the summer he was assigned as an counselor-instruc M. R.

He was a member of the Gilead ledge of B'nai B'rith, the Elks club and the Masonic lodge. Surviving are his wife, Mellie; two daughters, Mrs. Jerome K. Harris, of San Antonio, and Mrs. Herman Veit; five sisters, Mrs.

Amanda Fieger, Mrs. I. Gartner, Mrs. Florence Epstein, Madie and Rae, and two brothers, Frank and Ralph, all of Milwaukee. Funeral services were conducted by Rabbi Samuel Hirshberg at i i Phillip J.

Mrs. Gold Zionist Youth Plan to Open Summer Camp Camp Orna, the Zionist youth camp of the Midwestern Region of Hashomer Hatzair, will open its sixth annual camping season on July 3 of this year. Situated at Wild Rose, near the heart of Wisconsin's camping region, Orna comprises 80 acres of pine forest and cleared land, a lake-frontage, and many natural and built-in camping facilities. Born in Russia, Mr. Young lived in London for thirty-five years, before coming to America in 1904. Alk, former Green Bay attorney, for distinguished service in the Philippines and Japan. The Medal of Freedom is equivalent to the Legion of Merit, except that only those with overseas service are eligible for the former.
