-t Wisconsin Jewish Chronicle October 23, 1992 Page 8 Community calendar to feature Forum at JCC candidates for A forum featuring candidates for the State Legislature from Milwaukee' Northeast Side will be held Thursday, Oct. 29 from p.m. at the Jewish Community Center. Participating will be: 22nd Assembly District (North Shore) candidates Polly Beal (R) and Frances Swig art (D). 23rd Assembly District (Brown Deer, northern Glendale, Northridge area and southern Mequon) candidates John LaFave (D) and Robert Spindell (R).

8th State Senate District (22nd and 23rd Assembly Districts) candidates Alberta Darling (R) and Bill Whitten (D). Because of redisricting, no incumbents are running for these seats. Moderator Mordecai Lee, Milwaukee Jewish Council executive director, said topics may include abortion rights, financial aid to parochial schools, property tax relief, gun control, the Juvenile Code, welfare reform, gambling, health care and environmental protection. A kosher buffet lunch is available from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. for $3.
