Both males and females have horns. They live in small herds. The female has one or two young, born in the spring. Roadrunners look as if they are in a big hurry as they dart around. They eat baby snakes, insects, mice, lizards and some fruit.

Unlike those in the cartoon, tby don't make a "beep beep" sound. Horned lizards Bobcats Coyotes Bobcats get their name from their short, bobbed tail. These cats are yellowish with dark spots and stripes. They come out at night to hunt squirrels, rabbits and mice. They spend the day behind rocks and bushes.

Horned lizards eat ants and other small insects. They live on the ground. Their coloring allows them to blend into the surrounding landscape and hide from their enemies. Coyotes look like medium-size dogs with thick fur. They are smart, and have good sight, hearing and smell.

They will eat almost anything. They make a howling sound. If 42 ii'i VGo dot to dot A "and color.
