Mary Anna Grube 1923 2015 Mary Anna Grube passed away on Monday, June 29, 2015 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Estevan, SK at the age of 92 years. Prayers were held on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan, SK with Doug Third officiating. The Funeral Mass was held on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist RC Church with Rev.

Gerry Bauche presiding. Interment took place at Souris Valley Memorial Gardens. The lunch reception followed at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church.

To all those who knew Mom, please know that your relationship with her brightened her days and filled her with love and joy, we thank you for this. We would like to recognize our Leier and Johns families, and our extended families in Qu'Appelle Valley and Pasqua First Nation. As well as all Mom's co-workers and former patients from the Fort Qu'Appelle Indian Hospital, where she retired as a nurse after 27 years. We would also like to acknowledge all of Mom's good friends, notably her special friend Lou Lennox. We would like to express our extreme gratitude to Mom's doctors; Dr.

George Tuwor, Dr. Bonnie Richardson, Dr. Amanda Ellwood, her caregivers at the Regina General Hospital, Renal Unit and Cardiac Care Unit for your compassionate care shown to our Mom in her time of need. As our matriarch, Mom held our family together with love, kindness, guidance and inspiration. Mom's true beautiful, compassionate heart will be carried within our hearts forever.

Cremation with a private family interment will be held. Marion was born in Indian Head and grew up in Sunny Slope school district.

She competed her grade 12 at the age of 16 and taught school briefly in Saskatchewan. After receiving her degree at the University of Manitoba she joined Wycliffe Bible Translators. Marion taught at jungle camps in Peru and Bolivia but spent most of her missionary career in La Paz, Bolivia, working with Aymara and Quechua Indians. She retired to Indian Head in 1996 after 48 years with Wycliffe. Marion was predeceased by her parents James and Frieda (Defenbaugh) Heaslip, her brother Charles and sister law Bessie and her niece Bonnie Heaslip.

She leaves to mourn nephew Gerry (Val) Heaslip and nieces Betty Anne (Barnet) Williamson, Brenda (Glenn Hymers) Heaslip, Pat (Bob) McNeill and many great-nieces and nephews. Marion enjoyed discussing world events, all sports and people. She was an amazing story teller and corresponded with hundreds of friends around the world. Marion lived a full and happy life dedicated to serving the Lord. She will be remembered for warm smile, her gentle way and her dedication to Christ.

George Merkel on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at the age of 92 years. He was predeceased by his wife Irene; son Barry: and brother Robert. George is survived by his children Marion (Ken), Viola, Jim (Barb), Gerald and Karen; numerous grandchildren and greatgrandchildren; sisters Elsie and Anne. George was born in the Raymore area and farmed most of his life. He was a veteran and served in WWII.

Highway East 789-8850 REV. PETER HARRY LUTTMER JANUARY 12,1952 Father Peter died peacefully with his twin brother by his side, on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 after a lengthy illness. Peter, son of Mitzi and William Luttmerding, was raised on a small dairy farm and attended Etaples, a one room school house. With his twin brother Paul, oldest brother Walter, and their maternal grandfather, he grew up in what is today thought of as a kind of idyllic prairie childhood. At age 23, Peter had graduated university and entered St.

Joseph's Seminary in Edmonton. Upon graduation in 1979, he was ordained to the priesthood by Archbishop Halpin. He was first sent as an assistant Fr. Sullivan in Weyburn, and shortly thereafter, to serve as Pastor at St. Joseph's Claybank.

After too brief a stay, he was sent to Canora, then Moose Jaw, and then a two year sabbatical. On his return, he served at St. Cecilia's in Regina and St. James in Southey. Due to his lifelong struggles with kidney disease, in 1997 Peter took medical leave from his ministry and would until the end of his life, live with his brother Paul, first at Last Mountain Lake, then for ten years in Bulyea, and finally in a condo on Stockton Street in Regina.

Peter lost two of his older brothers, Walter and Rudy, in the last few years. He leaves to mourn his twin brother Paul and brother Gerald; his nieces, Jeanette and Roseanne; many cousins and many friends. The Funeral Mass with be held at Our Lady of Grace R. C. Church, 113 Elgin Street, Sedley SK, on Monday, July 6, 2015 at 11 a.m.

Bill was predeceased by his father Edward Straub. Bill was a hardworking dedicated heating. ventilation and air conditioning technician his whole life, starting out young with his father and continued working for various companies until his retirement. Bill loved the outdoors, he took great pride in his yard, his work and his vehicles. A private Celebration of Bill's Life will be held at a later date.
