Kirk is survived by his son Ethan, sister, several brothers, mother Terry Christie, step father Gary Christie, and father Bruce Judd. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 4th at 1:30 pm at St. Marks Lutheran Church, 3510 Queen Regina.

Donations can be made through the Credit Union to a Hockey Scholarship Fund in Kirk's name, which will be set up at a later date. More information to follow. You'll always be in our hearts Kirk. We'll love you FLEMING, Calista Jasmine With more sorrow than we can describe, we wish to announce the sudden death of our 20 year old daughter, Calista Jasmine Fleming, formerly of Regina, Saskatchewan.

Calista died in her sleep in the early morning of May 17. She was with friends when the end came and she knew she was loved, so we guess that covers all the important things. She will be missed by many people, not the least her friends and teachers at Martin Leboldus High School and her mentor Jack Cowin. She loved her life and we can only hope that all her friends know they were part of that. A memorial art show will be held in her honor in Comox in early June.

Born on January 27, 1920 in London, England, she immigrated to a farm near Ituna, S.K. in 1945 as a bride of Wilbert George McConnell. George worked as a grain buyer in Leross, Sovereign and Davin, S.K.

After retirement in 1971 George and Bobbie moved to Sidney and then later Victoria. She is predeceased by husband George (1994) and her grandson Greg Siver (2011). Left to mourn her loss are children Michael (Susan) Screech of Braunton, England, Bill McConnell of Kelowna, Sandra McConnell and David (Joanne) McConnell of Victoria and Ruth McConnell of Edmonton, much loved sisterin-law Alice McConnell Ivey and lifelong friend Maggie Frey, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Thank you to the staff of Selkirk Place for their many kindnesses and compassionate care. A private family gathering was held on May 27 with a memorial and interment of ashes to take place in September 2012 at Royal Oak Cemetery.

Constantinos was born in the village of Kastri, Kynourias, Arkadia. He was predeceased by his parents Panayiotis and Stavroula; four two in infancy, George and Areti, Costantina latridis and Afrothiti nephews loanis Hasapis and Peter Dimas; In-laws loanis and Aspasia Mili; brother-inlaw Pericles Ligdas; nephew Nikos Ligdas; and sister-in-law Mary latridis.

Left to mourn Constantinos's passing are his loving wife of 43 years Afroditi (Freda); son Peter (Electra) granddaughter Aphrodite Phoebe; son John (Chelsea) granddaughter Avea Aphrothiti; brothers George (Helen) and Nick; sisters Mary (Chris) Dimas; Irene (Jim) Kourlibinis: Vivian (Jim) Lentzos and Katina (Nicholas) Fourlas; brother-in-law Nick (Cristina) Hasapis; sisters-in-law Maria Ligdas and Christina Mili; numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews and godchildren. Gus will also be remembered by friends and acquaintances especially in Moose where he leaves a lasting legacy. In Greece he worked as a welder alongside his father. He immigrated to Canada 1958 and was a pioneer in the Moose Jaw restaurant world as an active partner in the Ambassador and later in Rodos Pizza. He was a devoted father, grandfather, husband and Orthodox Christian whose life was dedicated to his family.

One of his many passions was his fruit trees which reminded him of his home town in the mountains of Greece. He also loved his local Moose Jaw hockey teams from the early days of the Canucks to standing in the corner of the Civic Centre cheering on the Warriors. But most of all, his was the special loves of his life, his granddaughters "Galiandra" and "Sousourada." A special thank you to Reverend Spiridon Vandoros and Reverend John their love and spiritual guidance and to Dr. Brian Sanderson, the staff at Allan Blair Cancer Centre and Moose Jaw Union Hospital. She will also be missed by her fifteen mother grandchildren. Also left with fond memories are many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. In 1972 she married Evan Gullacher and they spent 40 years together farming near Imperial, SK. They were blessed with seven children and she appreciated the uniqueness of each one of them. Over the years Karen enjoyed being a wife, mother, grandma and friend. always found time for people and would often say, "People are more important than Some of Karen's favourite things were bike trips with her hubby, quilting, meeting people, collecting quotes, asking people their zippy music, words, popcorn clouds, big old houses, sending cards, and paper.

Despite the health struggles that Karen faced, she enjoyed life thoroughly. Karen chose to have a positive outlook on life no matter what she was faced with. Funeral service will be held at the Community Centre in Imperial, Sk. on June 2nd at 2:00 p.m. with interment prior to the service at 11:00 a.m.

Evelyn Opal (Hillesland) McDougall 96, Halifax formerly of Estevan, passed away July 31. 2011 in Halifax following a stroke. Evelyn was born near Douglas, North Dakota to Ole and Annie Marie Hillesland. She married "Mac" in 1938 and moved north of the border.

She moved from Estevan to Halifax in 2004. She is survived by two daughters; Laura Ann Wright of Jacksonville, Florida and Janet (George) MacDonald of Chester Basin, Nova Scotia and five grandchildren; Sarah (Wright) and John Rice and their daughters Genevieve and Nadine, Jacksonville, Florida; James and Rochelle MacDonald, son Michael and daughter Jordyn, Stonewall Manitoba; Heather (Macdonald) and Dr. Robert Vandorpe and daughter, Jade, stepsons Ben and Matt, Bedford, Nova Scotia: Heidi (MacDonald) and Stefan Leslie and daughter Annika and son Mattias, Halifax, Nova Scotia; Laura (McDougall) Legere and sons Luke and Jesse. Her sister Dorcus Sullivan, Portland Oregon, is the sole surviving sibling. She was predeceased her husband Frederic S.

'Mac' McDougall, son Allan Frederic McDougall, two sisters; Otellia and Leota, and four brothers; Spencer, Boyd, Linton, and Odean. Evelyn attended the State Normal and Industrial College in Ellendale, North Dakota and taught for many years first in Ambrose, N.D. and I then in Torquay and Estevan. She directed choirs in the Lutheran and United Churches and taught piano lessons for many years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She was an avid reader and loved to play bridge. Cremation took place in Halifax. A memorial service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 738 2nd Street, Estevan, Sask. on June 6th at 2 p.m; Pastor Stewart Miller officiating. HOLMES, Sidney John Jr. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sidney Holmes Jr. on Tuesday, May 29, 2012. He is predeceased by his parents, memory is Sidney Sidney's and Jessie. wife Left of to 45 cherish years, Paulette: 5 children; 9 grandchildren; his sister-in-law, brother nieces and nephews; cousin in England and many friends.

Sid retired from John Deere in 2005 after 30 yrs of service. Sid coached baseball, hockey and ringette and met many good people. One of his prized possessions was his official Bobby Orr Boston Bruins jersey. Special thanks to the many health care professionals who provided Sid with compassion and care in the past two years. At Sid's request there will be no Funeral Service, his ashes will be taken to England at a later date.

There will be a come and go gathering to celebrate the life of Sid from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 66 Noonan Regina SK.
