Guido immigrated to Canada in 1952 and married his childhood sweetheart Teresa in 1954. He took up the plumbing trade where he achieved the level of Master Plumber. His first love was his family and he reveled in their togetherness. His second passion was the outdoors, hunting and fishing. Keith has been a faithful member of Bethany Gospel Chapel and Strasbourg Bible Camp since birth. After a short career with Border Glass installing windows, Keith entered the trucking profession. He and his dog Princess spent many years driving around Sask. Keith loved to talk and I know he has friends either drivers or customers across Western Canada. Hobbies and interests were walking, hiking, canoeing, skiing, camping and photography.

Keith is predeceased by grandparents Harold and Eva Seed and William and Florence Farquhar and daughter Sheryl. Bernice was born on December 13, 1930 and raised at Mair, Saskatchewan.

She came from a family of two sisters and four brothers. Bernice attended Grangehurst School that was two and a half miles from ten but didn't return to school following the her home in Mair. She a completed her grade death of her mother in August 1947. Bernice was given the responsibility of assuming the household duties for her Dad and four brothers. She married Irvin Neal Silvius on July 17, 1948.

They raised a family of four boys and shared over sixty years together. Bernice started to work outside home in Brandon in 1972, starting at the Great Western Outerwear Factory, moving to the Brandon Woolen Mills and finally the Provincial Building as a maintenance worker, switchboard operator and eventually to the mail room in that building. She retired in 1985 after twelve years of service with the provincial government. Bernice was involved with every community-curling club in which she lived. She enioyed curling, reading, knitting, needlepoint, camping, gardening and watching the extracurricular activities of her grandchildren who lived near her.

She is survived by her loving husband Irvin; her four boys: Ray (Valerie) of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Alan (Darlene) of Brandon, Kevin (Peggy) of Regina, Saskatchewan and Larry (Eileen) of Rivers, Manitoba; her precious grandchildren: Robin (AI), Angela (Dave), Lana (Myron), Jennifer (Colin), Ryan Lisa), Christopher, Michael and Jesse; and her adoring great-grandchildren: Morgan, Brayden, Jillian, Riley, Georgia and Callum. She also leaves behind her sister Marguerite Renwick; her brothers: Bob Hoff (Pauline), Dave Hoff (Margaret) and Danny Hoff (Alice); brother-in-law Orville Thompson and numerous nieces and nephews. SPEERS 522-3232 8 DEATH NOTICES TANELLE LYNN (GORNIAK) DIETZFebruary 24, 1983 to November 20, 2008 Tanelle left to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on November 20, 2008 at the tender age of 25 years.

Tanelle's wishes were granted as she passed away with all the people that she loved at her bedside holding her, as the Lord took her to be with Him. She was blessed in her final hours being able to hug, kiss and tell everyone that she loved them and will always be with them. Tanelle was predeceased by grandmother Shirley Czaplicki. Tanelle will be sadly missed by her husband Craig and two adorable children, Kyton (7 years) and Braylon (2 years). She will be forever loved by her parents Patricia Gorniak (Brandt Ross) and Doug Gorniak (Sherry Greenwood and her daughter Rachelle); brother Devan Gorniak (Shanna Ullrich).

She will always be adored by her in-laws Susan and Darryl Dietz and brother-in-law Brent Dietz. She is cherished by her grandparents "Gramma Willie" Gorniak, Nick Gorniak (Shirley); Edward Czaplick; Granpa Bill Yeo and Grandma Ethel Dietz. She was blessed with wonderful aunts and uncles who treated her like their own; Linda and Abe Doerksen, Fay and Jim Schaeffer, Cathy and Darcy Schatz, Cindy and Kam Toor, Jayson Czaplicki, Michelle Liesch, David Liesch, Adele and Don McDowell; and all her wonderful cousins who are so dearly attached to her. Tanelle touched the hearts of many friends. She was given courage and support from her best friends Angela Evans, Amanda Wenger, Michelle Furutani, Joel Costea, Angel McConnell, Dianne Williams and Christine McLean.

We give thanks for the constant prayers and blessings from Minister C.C. A saint in our midst Lynn's family is grieved to announce the passing of their adored Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Daughter, and Aunt. Lynn is survived by her sons, Scott and Glen (Barbara); grandsons, David, Marc, and Ronan; parents Patrick and Edythe McCarthy; sisters and brother, Merle Sharon (Rudy), and Vern; and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. Lynn's first profession was that of an elementary school teacher, which she enioyed for 16 years in many small towns throughout Saskatchewan, Alberta and B.C.

When she moved with her family to Victoria in 1986, she dedicated herself to improving the lives of others through her work with the Victoria Association of Community Living. Lynn's family especially wish to thank the residents and staff of McRae home for all the joy they brought to her life. In her "spare Lynn enjoyed her two passions: lawn bowling and gardening. She was a member of the West Lawn Bowls Club and held many provincial and national titles in the sport. As a National Lawn Bowls team member, she represented Canada at the World Indoor Championships in Belfast, Ireland (twice), the Asia Pacific Games in Australia, and the 2006 Commonwealth Games, also in Australia.

When not working, bowling, or travelling, Lynn could also be found tending her flower and vegetable gardens. And let us not forget her discreet, but frequent forays to the Casino, whether here in Victoria (especially during these last few months) or the 21 trips with her Dad to Reno (duty-free rum always a must on the return home)! To appreciate beauty; To find the best in others; To give one's self; To leave the world a little better, Whether by a healthy child, A garden patch, Or a redeemed social condition; To have played and with enthusiasm, And sung with exultation; To know even one life has breathed easier Because you have Lynn's quick smile and laughter will be missed by her family, those she cared for, played and worked with, as well as her many friends and acquaintances here and around the world. A thousand thanks to Dr. Bernstein at the Royal Jubilee hospital cancer clinic, and to the nurses who attended her regularly at home in her last few weeks. Lynn was so confident about their care, which gave her much reason to continue to live life fully right up to her last few days, despite pain and declining strength.

A celebration of her life was held Saturday, 18 October at the Vic West Lawn Club. In keeping with her wishes, there were speeches, but plenty of her own wine (another little hobby). The interment in Riverside Memorial Gardens in Regina was private. Marie was predeceased by her husband, Clarence of 57 years; parents Oscar Anna Johnson; brother Eldon (Elaine) Johnson; sister Mildred (Jack) Neelin. Marie was born in Fillmore on November 24, 1916. The youngest child of three, she was Daddy's 1 little girl. She had a very happy childhood and was always ready to share a story from those days. On October 26, 1940, Marie married the love of her life, Clarence Riddell.

They spent their first years together in Regina and it was during this time they had their son, Norman. They moved back to Fillmore in 1947. where Clarence went into business, and in 1972 they moved to Carlyle to ioin in business with their son Norman and family. Her favorite memories were of times with family, her school chums, and the many friends she made over the years. Marie particularly loved leading CGIT and cherished the many friendships she made through that association and through her church work.

Quilting was a favorite past time, and she created many works of art that are now treasured heirlooms. Marie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother friend. She loved her family unconditionally with her whole heart and will be greatly missed. She is lovingly remembered by her son Norman (Judy) Riddell; her three grandchildren: Derek (Lydia) Riddell of Calgary, Jody (Jeff) Sterzuk of Calgary Jared (Tammie) Riddell of Carlyle; her nine great grandchildren: Jonathan, Jessica and Jordan Riddell; Taylor and Lauryn Sterzuk; Madison, Adrien, Jaiden and Nolan Riddell; nephew Dennis Neelin; niece Pat( (Richard) McGillivary; sisters-in-law: Elsie (Craig) Balfour; Shirley (Trygve) Olsen; Rev. Sandra Riddell (Bill Scott).

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2008, at Carlyle United Church, with Rev. John Bullas officiating. Interment will be held at a later date. All who shared in Marie's life are considered Honorary Pallbearers.

SCHULTZ-Passed away the Herbert Health care home on Nov. 10 due to hip fracture complications. He was 99 years old, just 16 days short of his 100th year.

He was born in Regina Nov. 26, 1908 raised in the town of Riceton and moved to Regina or just before the war. He worked for Sask. Power till his retirement, than moved to Kelowna for 30 years where he spent a lot of his days golfing. They then came back to Sask.

and settled in Swift Current to be near family in their later years. He was predeceased by his parents William H. Schultz and Emma (Janotta) Schultz. One sister, Gladys Schultz and one brother Earl Schultz. He is currently survived by his wife of 76 years Beatrice and one son Gary (Agnes) of Swift Current and three grandchildren and their families.

At Wilf's request no formal funeral will be had. His ashes are to be laid to rest at the Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kelowna, B.C. His cremation is to be handled by Warrens Funeral Home in Swift Current Go GO GO OBITUARIES CONTINUED ON NEXT PAGE.
