He was predeceased by his parents Lu Rowat and Clive Dotten; stepfathers Wilf Bernier and Vern Rowat; stepmother Edna Dotten; stepbrother Alan Dotten; mother-in-law Irene Green and numerous aunts and uncles. Clive leaves to cherish his memory are his loving wife Sharon of 39 years; his pets, two poodles Mysti and Shalen; his four cats Jackson, Sheba, Jade and Ashli; brother Stan (Arlene) and their family Bradley, Leah, Matthew; half sisters Pat (Dwight) Bathgate, Karen (Bruce) McKye their children Lindsay and Leigh; stepsister Jean Kinsley and her children Chris and Craig; stepsister-in-law Delores Dotten; aunt Ethel Meise, uncle Dick Lenten, aunt Lil Lenten; father-in-law George Green and Sharon's sister Viola (Ralph) Keeping and their family Trevor and Randall. Clive spent three years in the Navy as a young man. He was a self-educated, gentle, loving man who loved music, computers and traveling. William (Bill) was born February 5, 1938 at Dysart, Saskatchewan. He was 67 years old. He was predeceased by his parents John and Emily Schmidt, brothers Wilson, George, John, and Larry, brother-in-law Adam Gottfried, sisters-in-law, Jean Schmidt and Joyce Robson and parents-inlaw, Irving and Maggie Belle Robson. He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his loving wife of forty-one years, Bev; and their children Michelle (Tim) and daughter Ashley Laycock of Regina; Michael (Colleen) and daughters Julianne and Chanelle Smith of Calgary; and Raelynn (Tim) and son Ethan William Langford of Regina. Also left to cherish his memory are sisters Florence Gottfried of Regina; Isabel (John) Kelowna; Josephine (Lloyd) Zimmerman of Burnaby; Bernice Smith (Michael Glovasky) of and Margaret (Pat) Meehan of Victoria; brothers Ernie (Lynda) Smith Melfort; Ralph (Sandy) Smith of Winnipeg; Dan (Carol) Smith of Regina; sisters-in-law Smith of Regina and Henrietta Smith of Regina; Bev's brothers Don (Verley) Robson of Saskatoon; Bob (Marilyn) Robson of Prince Albert; and Keith (Marcie) Robson of Yorkton; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and extended family members.

In the early 1960s, Bill worked for Royal Typewriters in Saskatoon and Regina. He also worked on construction of several homes and spent they year working at Southey Motors. On July 4, 1964, Bill married Bev Robson in Regina, Bill attended the University of convocating with Bachelors degrees and Education. In Regina, his early teaching years, Bill taught in both Odessa and Regina. In 1967, he and Bev moved to Melville where he taught at Saint Henry's High School and Melville Comprehensive School for many years.

Through the 1970s and 1980s, he and Bev raised their family of three children, Michelle, Michael, and Raelynn in Melville. He was involved in many community events and sporting activities including ball hockey, figure skating and swimming. He enjoyed several years in the accounting room at numerous figure skating competitions. Bill and Bev worked as a team at several regional competitions with Bev as Tech. Rep, and Bill as Chief Accountant.

He became proficient in sharpening both figure and hockey skates As a member of the First United Church, Bill served several years on the Official Board and actively engaged in the projects of the A.O.T.S. Group. For a short time, Bill served as treasurer for the Melville Chapter of Superannuated Teachers and enjoyed attending the meetings when able. Bill loved to tinker with anything that was mechanical, electrical, computerized, or simply made of wood and screws. If something was broken or not working properly, chances were that he could fix it.

His ingenuity and creative problem solving skills will be missed by his loved ones. Bill was an avid reader who also enjoyed bowling, curling, fishing, gardening, and meteorology. He had a brilliant quick mind and a wonderfully dry sense of humor. A funeral service will be held at the First United Church, 5th Avenue East, Melville, SK on Saturday February 4, 2006 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Church Memorial Fund, Melville, SK or to a charity of choice.

Bob was a person with several interests: Education, as assistant principal and principal for 33 years in the Elementary Division The Moose Jaw Public School System; Astronomy; Fraternal Organizations; Music and the crop hail insurance industry. He was a life member and Past Master of Memorial Lodge No. 172, Ancient Free and Accepted Masons; a life member of Prince of Wales Chapter No. 23 (Regina) Royal Arch Masons; a life member and Past Grand Valley Lodge No.

1, Independent Order of Odd Fellows; member of Zion United Church for over 80 years; a member for over sixty years of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada and past member of the American Federation of Musicians. Bob was predeceased by his parents Alfred and Ruth his sister Phyllis Heaps and his beloved cocker spaniel Auri. He will be remembered by his many friends, fraternal associates and former students. The FUneral Service will be held on February 6, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. in Parkview Funeral Chapel with Pastor Henry Murray officiating.

Interment to follow in the family plot at Rosedale Cemetery. There will be visitation for family and friends on Sunday, February 5, 2006 from 7:00 8:00 p.m. in Parkview Funeral Chapel. 1, 2006, Mr. Marcel Verbeke, beloved husband of the late Blanche (Little) and a retired longtime businessman and farmer of the Lafleche, Sask. district passed away peacefully at Lafleche and District Health the Centre at the age of 90 years. Marcel was born in France on April 14, 1915, the fourth child of Ernest and Louise Verbeke who were originally from Belgium. The family immigrated to Canada in 1921 and settled in the Lafleche district where Marcel attended several country schools, including Harwood and Wood Dale.

He worked on local threshing crews and since there was no work during the thirties, Marcel left for Chicago and worked there. On April 19, 1941 he married Blanche Little and they moved to Boissevain, Man. where Marcel worked as a mechanic. In 1947 they returned Lafleche and Marcel and his brother, Maurice opened an International Dealership. Marcel was a self taught mechanic.

He believed in good service, was very loyal to his customers and in business was truly the farmers friend. Marcel was very involved community activities and was a town councilor when Lafleche received town status in 1953. As well as. selling and repairing farm equipment, Marcel also sold RCA Electronic Equipment. Upon his retirement in 1975, he continued to enjoy his farm and also took up fishing for few years.

After the death of his beloved in 1997, he moved to the Lafleche and District Health Centre where he received wonderful care. Marcel will be deeply remembered for his devotion to his wife and his children. He was proud of his community, loved the land and was always ready to help others. Marcel was a quiet man, but to his close friends, had a very subtle sense of humor. He loved watching football and was a ardent Roughrider fan.

His family and many friends will always be grateful for his love and many achievements. He was predeceased by his parents Ernest and Louise Verbeke, his beloved wife Blanche (1997), infant son Michael, two brothers Maurice and George, sisters: Martha, Irma, Madeleine and Jeannette. Marcel is survived by his son Bob of Saskatoon, daughter Marcia of Regina, one sister Germaine Mccullogh of Prince albert, brother and sisters-inlaw: Terry Verbeke of Maple Creek, Thelma Gusa of St. Albert, Dallas Pratte of Vancouver, B.C. and Bruce (Ethel) Little of Balgonie, numerous nieces and nephews.

In keeping with his Marcels wishes there will be no funeral serviceCremation will take place with memorialization at a later date.
