24, 1997 at the age of 78. Formerly of Regina and Wishart, SK. Rosalyn was predeceased by many loved ones including her husband Lloyd, Raymond and Eugene. She leaves behind five grandchildren and many other family members and loved ones, including Maryann Rakochy (Walter), Debra Gill (Robert), Garry (Elaine) and Virginia. We are blessed for having had Rosalyn in our lives.

She was a humble servant and child of God, who although suffered much in her life, persevered, worked hard and kept the faith of the good. Among many cherished memories, those who knew Rosalyn will remember the joy she took in simple pleasures, songs and stories, her careful attention to food, beautiful embroidery and knitting, and her love of books. Allan, after a courageous battle with cancer, passed away with dignity in hospital at Invermere, BC, on September 30, 1997. SAVIN -Wilda Savin nee Corlett passed 8 DEATH NOTICES away in Calgary, Alberta on October 12, 1997 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Wilda was born in Edmonton, Alberta where she graduated as a Registered Nurse from the Edmonton General Hospital (1958). She obtained her Diploma in Teaching and Supervision and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Saskatchewan. Wilda's nursing career has included service as a nursing sister with the RCAF and numerous senior nursing and executive positions in Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia and Alberta. She is survived by her husband Bill her children: Robert, Donald and Catherine. In lieu of flowers the family would ask that donations be made to the Wilda Savin Nursing Scholarship Fund through the Bank of Montreal.

MAVIS BRONSCH, (nee Madole), on Monday, October 13, 1997 at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary at the age of 72 years. Mavis was born in Regina, Sask. on July 23, 1925. In 1991 she moved to Calgary where she lived very happily. Predeceased by her husband Fred in 1974; brother, Carl in 1942; and sister, Mona Thauburger in 1991.

Mavis will be lovingly remembered by her family, Jacquie (Robert) Leask of Calgary, Ronald (Darlene) Bronsch Regina, Sask. and Mervin (Kelly) Bronsch of Surrey, She is also survived by her sister, Muriel Denton of Saskatoon, brother, Cecil (Lomie) Madole of Calgary, Alta. She will be sadly missed by her twelve grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren who she loved very much. 8 DEATH NOTICES 8 DEATH NOTICES McCRANK -Doris Blashill McCrank passed away peacefully at the Palliative care unit of the Pasqua Hospital in Regina on October 13, 1997 in her 80th year. Doris was predeceased by her parents James and Ella Soutar and by one brother James R. Soutar on active service with the RCAF in 1942. Doris is survived by her loving husband of 53 years Leonard; her children: James (Sheila), Robert (Denise), Murray (Linda), and Eileen; grandchildren: Christopher, Lisa (Blair) Buchholz, Peter, Michael, Daniel, Jennifer, and Kerri; and her great grandchildren: Jenny, Amber and Aren Buchholz and Jesse McCrank; brothers: Donald (Gene) Soutar and Robert (Patricia) Soutar; aunts: Pearl O'Byrne, Laura Mills and Pat Blashill and Uncle Lawrence (Pearl) Blashill; sister-in-laws: Kathleen Pinner, Rose Lageson, Elinor (James) Murphy and Florence McCrank and brother-in-law Donald (Doreen) McCrank; and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. Doris was a longtime member of Saint Augustine Parish, Wilcox and more recently Christ the King Parish Regina.

She was an active member of the C.W.L. at both the parish and provincial council level for over fifty years. She participated in the activities of the Yankee Ridge Community Club since 1944. She was an enthusiastic painter and photographer and her art will continue to be treasured by her family and friends. Flowers graciously declined.

Miller passed away at the age of 86 at the Ottawa General Hospital after a brief illness. Raised on a farm near Lipton, Saskatchewan, he pitched semi-professional baseball. The flip of a coin aided in his decision to leave baseball behind and join the RCMP. A long and varied career, which included time on the musical ride, service in five provinces and in Germany, led eventually to retirement in Nova Scotia's Annapolis Valley. The beauty of the east coast inspired him to pursue yet another successful career in oil painting.

In 1982 he moved to Ottawa. Much loved husband for 45 years of the late Eleanor Frances (Fleming), of Minnedosa, Manitoba; father of Anne Miller of Gloucester and Monty Miller (Linda DuBois) of Thunder Bay; proud grandfather of Caroline Miller, Gloucester, Christopher, Luke and Michael, Thunder Bay. Predeceased by his parents, John and Katherine Miller, brothers John (Lillian), Fort Qu'Appelle and Bill, Lipton, sister Eva (Albert) Serfas, Medicine Hat and brother-in-law Bob Forbes, Choiceland. Survived by sisters Caroline (Charlie) Handkamer, Vancouver, Ella Forbes, Saskatoon, sister Florence Miller, Regina, and many nieces and nephews. Among those left to remember him are his long time friends Bud and Dee Barber, Nepean and Lydie Watson, Edmonton, a dear friend whose renewed acquaintance and gentle correspondence brightened his final years.

A special farewell from his devoted buddies Daisy and Kasha with whom he passed so many hours of quiet companionship. A private service was held on October 10, 1997, followed by cremation and interment at Capital Memorial Gardens. For those who wish to make memorial donations, gifts to the Cancer Society, Alzheimer Society or Salvation Army would be appreciated. PAYSEN-Brian Elwood Paysen, aged 44 years, of Central Butte, Saskatchewan passed away on Monday, October 13, 1997. The FUneral Service will be held on Friday, October 17, 1997 at 2:00 p.m.
