She was predeceased by her parents Emil and Henrietta Diekrager; husband William Morley Schultz; sister Doreen Wilson; brother Danny; brother-in-law Walter Reich and sister-in-law Vivian Diekrager.

Laura leaves behind her children David (Arleen) of Regina Beach, Darlene (Glen) Brunskill of Regina, Jane (Gary) Herfert of Surrey, Jay (Cindy) Schultz of Port Coquitiam and Dean of Surrey; grandchildren Scott (Carmen) Brunskill, Jared Brunskill, Chad (Lindsay) Brunskill and Luke Brunskill, all of Regina, Kyle Huffman of Port Coquitiam and Harrison Herfert of Surrey and a great granddaughter Abby Brunskill. Laura is survived by her brothers Bob and Henry; sisters RuthAnn (Lawrence) Harty and Kay Reich; brother-inlaw Bob Wilson; sisters-in-law Theresa Diekrager, Gaylene Diekrager and Shirley (Bliss) Cross; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to express their gratitude to the doctors, nurses, support staff and volunteers of the Peace Arch Hospital, Rock, BC, Palliative Care 3A Pasqua Hospital and the Regina Wascana Grace Hospice for there compassionate care. Helen was predeceased by her parents Wendel and Marie Anna Schlosser; brothers: John, Jack (Jacob), Frank, Jim (James); sisters: Mary Weisgerber (Alec), Kate Stoudt (Bill), Beth Fiesel (Charlie), Jean Gerein, Anne Bokitch (Marty), Lena Kam (Frank) Agnes Keller (Louie). Helen will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 59 years Henry, sons: Kevin (Donna) of Westbank, BC, Dan (Susan) and Tim of Regina Sask, Terry of Westbank; her daughters: Marilyn Kopp (Robert) Westbank BC, Maureen Zapshalla (Cliff) of Calgary AB. Helen is also survived by her grandchildren: Jason Klein (Sheila), Brad Klein (Heather), Michael Vogt, Alissa Gaskins (Jason), Mark Zapshalla, Stacy Zapshalla (Erin), Ashley Nelson, Nolan Nelson, great grand children: Alya, Katie, Cameron Klein, Michaela Gaskins. Helen is also survived by her sisters: Rose Tuchscherer (John) of Regina Sask, Hannah Haider (Ed) of Gainsborough, Sask, Dorothy Nichols (Ed) of Victoria BC. Brother in laws Jim Gerein; sister in laws Nora Schlosser (Jim), Kate Holzapfel (Gordon), Regina Vogt (Bill), Phyllis Vogt (AI), all of Regina Sask and Sister Loretta Vogt of Chatham, Ont, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Helen was also predeceased by her brother in law Father George Vogt; sister in law Peggy Eberle (Andrew). Helen resided through her life on a farm at Odessa, retiring to Regina and finally Westbank. Her life was a full and astonishing legacy of committment, determination, courage, ability and talent. Her memory will be cherished and missed by all of us. A mass will be held Friday, Dec 7 at AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2547 Hebert Westbank, BC.

FARTAK -Joseph (Joe) Fartak passed away on November 23, 2007 after suffering a massive stroke. Joe was born on December 29, 1929 in Obernitz, Sudetenland. (Now Czech Republic). As German citizens the family lost everything and spent time a Concentration Camp where his father died. Later the remaining family and Joe settled around Koblenz, West Germany.

and his first wife immigrated to Regina in 1958. He started Ilse's Photo Studio and later Color Productions. His postcards are still available throughout Western Canada. For several years Joe brought a weekly German Music Hour on CKRM. Later he bought an island on Nemeiben Lake north of La Ronge and built a Fishing and Holiday Resort called Sunset Island.

In 1981 Joe became a winter resident (Snowbird) in Mesa, Arizona and enjoyed the Arizona winter sun until his Joe was the last member alive of a large family and is survived by an estranged son Patrick from his first marriage and some lifelong friends. His wish was not to have any services but for him to be remembered from his last meeting with you, his friends and acquaintances. Next summer his ashes will be scattered around his island where he found complete happiness every summer for over 40 years. 16, 1918 Anne Margaret Morton was born on the homestead in the Poplar Grove District to parents John and Marion Morton. Anne was the ninth child born in a family of twelve. She was predeceased by her parents John and Marion, her husband Clark Lewis, sisters; Mary Anne Goldsmith, Jean Darlington, Elizabeth Blunt and 2 infant sisters, brothers; James, Alexander, George, Ian and Robert. Sister-in-law Alda Lewis. She is survived by her sister Janet Morton, her sister Marion Lyster (Don) as well as numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.

Anne grew up on the family farm in the Poplar Grove District and attended the Woodside School. She took a business course in Brandon and prior her marriage she worked in Brandon, Portage La Prairie and Calgary. On Oct. 14, 1961 she married Clark Lewis. They settled on the Lewis farm in the Rosedale District.

Anne worked along side her husband helping with the seeding and harvest, she loved the simple things in life, gardening, her flowers, feeding her birds, taking care of their yard and home. Anne enioyed sewing and reading, she collected history from local newspapers and kept all this information in her albums. Anne and Clark farmed until 1999, at which time they retired to Moosomin. Upon Clarks passing Anne moved into Deer View Lodge in Wawota. Funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 21st, 2007 in the Bethel United Church, Rev.
