Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. from Grace United Church, Weyburn, SK with Rev. John Ferrier officiating. Interment will take place at Griffin Cemetery, Griffin, SK. Donations may be made in memory of Muriel to the Saskatchewan Heart 8, Stroke Foundation, the CN I or the charity of donors choice.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Hastings-Dionne Funeral Home, Weyburn, SK (306)842-6662 HROMEK Cathy Hromek (Meehan), home with the Lord as of Wednesday, December 5, 2007. Finally free from the long progressive affliction of Lupus and the Victory is her's. At the age of 57 Cathy leaves behind her immediate family: husband Ron and their 4 children with spouses, Jennifer (Kenton), Jonathan (Annette), Joyelle, and Joshua, plus two very special granddaughters Chanda and Jolena. Cathy's extended family includes: brothers and spouse Richard and Sean (Deborah), mother-in-law Kathleen, sister-in-laws and spouses Paulette (Dave), Colleen (Ike), and numerous nieces and nephews and their families. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at at Gateway Christian Fellowship Church located at 1812 Arthur Street, Regina (3 blocks west of Lewvan Drive on 11th We invite all family, friends and acquaintances to come and celebrate Cathy's life.

Lunch will follow the service and the Interment in the Dysart Catholic Cemetery scheduled for 3:00 p.m. will complete the day. She was predeceased by her parents Emil and Henrietta Diekrager; husband William Morley Schultz; sister Doreen Wilson; brother Danny; brother-in-law Walter Reich and sister-in-law Vivian Diekrager.

Laura leaves behind her children David (Arleen) of Regina Beach, Darlene (Glen) Brunskill of Regina, Jane (Gary) Herfert of Surrey, Jay (Cindy) Schultz of Port Coquitlam and Dean of Surrey; grandchildren Scott (Carmen) Brunskill, Jared Brunskill, Chad (Lindsay) Brunskill and Luke Brunskill, all of Regina, Kyle Huffman of Port Coquitlam and Harrison Herfert of Surrey and a great granddaughter Abby Brunskill. Laura is survived by her brothers Bob and Henry; sisters RuthAnn (Lawrence) Harty and Kay Reich; brother-in-law Bob Wilson; sisters-in-law Theresa Diekrager, Gaylene Diekrager and Shirley (Bliss) Cross; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to express their gratitude to the doctors, nurses, support staff and volunteers of the Peace Arch Hospital, White Rock, BC, Palliative Care 3A Pasqua Hospital and the Regina Wascana Grace Hospice for there compassionate care. Helen was predeceased by her parents Wendel and Marie Anna Schlosser; brothers: John, Jack (Jacob), Frank, Jim (James); sisters: Mary Weisgerber (Alec), Kate Stoudt (Bill), Beth Fiesel (Charlie), Jean Gerein, Anne Bokitch (Marty), Lena Kam (Frank) Agnes Keller (Louie).

Helen will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 59 years Henry, sons: Kevin (Donna) of Westbank, BC, Dan (Susan) and Tim of Regina Sask, Terry of Westbank; her daughters: Marilyn Kopp (Robert) of Westbank BC, Maureen Zapshalla (Cliff) of Calgary AB. Helen is also survived bv her grandchildren: Jason Klein (Sheila), Brad Klein (Heather), Michael Vogt, Alissa Gaskins (Jason), Mark Zapshalla, Stacy Zapshalla (Erin), Ashley Nelson, Nolan Nelson, great grand children: Alya, Katie, Cameron Klein, Michaela Gaskins. Helen is also survived by her sisters: Rose Tuchscherer (John) of Regina Sask, Hannah Haider (Ed) of Gainsborough, Sask, Dorothy Nichols (Ed) of Victoria BC. Brother in laws Jim Gerein; sister in laws Nora Schlosser (Jim), Kate Holzapfel (Gordon), Regina Vogt (Bill), Phyllis Vogt (Al), all of Regina Sask and Sister Loretta Vogt of Chatham, Ont, and numerous nieces and nephews. Helen was also predeceased by her brother in law Father George Vogt; sister in law Peggy Eberle (Andrew).

Helen resided through-out her life on a farm at Odessa, Sask retiring to Regina and finally Westbank. Her life was a full and astonishing legacy of committment, determination, courage, ability and talent. Her memory will be cherished and missed by ail of us. A mass will be held Friday, Dec 7 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2547 Hebert Westbank, BC. Donations may be made in Helen's memory to the MS Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation HELEN WESAQUATE NEE: CROWE (SPOTTED EAGLE WOMAN) was called home to the Creator on December 6, 2007 at the age of 75.

She was pre-deceased by her husband William Wesaquate, infant daughter, Lorraine and granddaughter, Lanie Panteluk, Parents: Remi and Blanche Crowe. Siblings: Elizabeth (James) Tuckanow, Noel (Seraphine) Crowe, Maggie (Fred) Dubois, Alice (Campbell) Swanson, Cora (Pete) Piapot, Ernest Crowe, Emma (Noel) Pinay, and Doreen Beck. She is survived by her companion, Wilfred Pelletier, Children: Elaine (Eddie) Lavallee, William (Arlene) Crowe, Myra Panteluk, Patrick, Wade, Terry Wesaquate, Lorraine Desnomie, Lorilee Jackson, Dwayne Wesaquate, Susan, Janet (Fred), Kimmy, Curtis, April (Darren) Maiore. "Auntie Rags" was a loving, devoted Grandmother of 38 Grandchildren, 42 Greatgrandchildren, and 5 Great-great grandchildren as well as numerous "Favorite" Neices and Nephews. As well as sister-in-law, Marion Crowe, and special daughter-in-law, Bev Ahenakew.

There will be a celebration of her life with a Traditional Wake on Sunday December 9, 2007 at 4 p.m. and Funeral on Monday December 10, 2007 at 11a.m. at Piapot First Nation hall with Elders Murray Ironchild, Harry Frances and Ray Lavallee officiating, Arrangements by Lee's Funeral Home. FARTAK Joseph (Joe) Fartak passed away on November 23, 2007 after suffering a massive stroke. Joe was born on December 29, 1929 in Obernitz, Sudentenland.

(Now Czech Republic). As German citizens the family lost everything and spent time in a Concentration Camp where his father died. Later the remaining family and Joe settled around Koblenz, West Germany. Joe and his first wife immigrated to Regina in 1958. He started Use's Photo Studio and later Color Productions.

His postcards are still available throughout Western Canada. For several years Joe brought a weekly German Music Hour on CKRM. Later he bought an island on Nemeiben Lake north of La Ronge and built a Fishing and Holiday Resort called Sunset Island. In 1981 Joe became a winter resident (Snowbird) in Mesa, Arizona and enioyed the Arizona winter sun until his death. Joe was the last member alive of a large family and is survived by an estranged son Patrick from his first marriage and some lifelong friends.

His wish was not to have any services but for him to be remembered from his last meeting with you, his friends and acquaintances. Next summer his ashes will be scattered around his island where he found complete happl-ness every summer for over 40 years, GARINGER Lee Guy late of Weyburn, SK, passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2007 at the age of 37 years. The Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 10, 2007 from Fletcher Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, SK at 2:00 p.m. with Rev John Ferrier officiating. Interment to take place at a later date.

A full obituary will appear in a future edition of the Leader Post. LEWIS, ANNE MARGARET passed away peacefully on Nov. 16, 2007 at the Deer View Lodge, Wawota at the age of 89 years. On Nov. 16, 1918 Anne Margaret Morton was born on the homestead in the Poplar Grove District to parents John and Marion Morton.

Anne was the ninth child born in a family of twelve. She was predeceased by her parents John and Marion, her husband Clark Lewis, sisters; Mary Anne Goldsmith, Jean Darlington, Elizabeth Blunt and 2 infant sisters, brothers; James, Alexander, George, Ian and Robert. Sister-in-law Alda Lewis. She is survived by her sister Janet Morton, her sister-in-law Marion Lyster (Don) as well as numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. Anne grew up on the family farm in the Poplar Grove District and attended the Woodside School.

She took a business course in Brandon and prior to her marriage she worked in Brandon, Portage La Prairie and Calgary. On Oct. 14, 1961 she married Clark Lewis. They settled on the Lewis farm in the Rosedale District. Anne worked along side her husband helping with the seeding and harvest, she loved the simple things in life, gardening, her flowers, feeding her birds, taking care of their yard and home.

Anne enioyed sewing and reading, she collected history from local newspapers and kept all this information in her albums. Anne and Clark farmed until 1999, at which time they retired to Moosomin. Upon Clarks passing Anne moved into Deer View Lodge in Wawota. Funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 21st, 2007 in the Bethel United Church, Rev. Mike Williams officiating.

Interment followed in the Fairmede Cemetery. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to G.R. Carscadden Funeral Chapel. RONEY Irene Ethel (nee Thompson) age 97 years passed away peacefully in her suite in Shaunavon, SK on Wednesday, December 5, 2007. Irene was born December 22, 1909 on a farm north of Pense.

She was predeceased by her husband, Tom and her sisters, Mae Riome and Eva Toderan. Irene will be lovingly remembered by her sister, Nellie Bell of Regina, her sons, Gordon (Marilyn) of Swift Current, Glen (Sharon) of Saskatoon, Robert (Constance) of Carrot River and her daughter, Lianne (Murray) Shadbolt of Shaunavon, 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Also many other caring relatives and friends she has made over her long life. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 10, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. in Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, 2080 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK.

Predeceased by her husband, G. Elmer Hume; parents, Alfred and Myrtle Moffat; brothers, Herbert and Graham Moffat; sister, Annie Harvey; brothers-in-law, Robert, Verl, and Kenneth Hume, Clarence Harvey; sisters-in-law, Alice Anderson, Valerie Hume. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 12, 2007 from the Carlyle United Church with Reverend John Bullas officiating. Interment will take place at Dalesboro Cemetery.
