L. Frochley Funeral Home in Hamburg has been re-elected to the board of directors of the Erie-Niagara Funeral Directors Association. The association has over 100 funeral firms in Erie and Niagara counties. The American Heart Association, Western Region, has named Eden native Michael E. Benzla to the position of community promotions director.

Kennedy for re-election in the 1989 general election. Seeking a new four-year term, Kennedy is completing his seventh year as Boston's supervisor.
