Locally Owned Building Our Own Tradition NOTICES 8 DEATH NOTICES BOLL-Maurice Boll of Fillmore, Sask. passed in the Fillmore Health Centre on Wednesday, October 29, 2003 at the age of 81 years after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease.

Remembrance Service will be held in the Fillmore Memorial Hall, Fillmore, Sask. on Saturday, November 1, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation with interment at a later date. Maurice is survived by his loving wife years, Audrey, sons, Rodney (Terry) Kevin, his beloved Cecelia grandsons, Schon and Kahl, four sisters, Storey Yvonne Wenaus, both of Regina, Loretta (Mel) Wenaus, Willow Bunch, Sask. and Lucille (Bill) McConkey, Okotoks, three brothers Phil (Audrey) Boll, Saskatoon, Eugene (Helen) Boll, Deer, and David Boll, Ottawa, also his numerous nieces and nephews.

Maurice was predeceased by his father Joseph Boll, his mother Winnifred Boll, stepmother, Ivy Boll, two sisters, Mary O'Neill and Winnie Taylor; four brothers: Frank, Roderick, Joe and Don Boll. Maurice was born on December 14, 1921 at Viceroy, Saskatchewan. He served with the RCAF overseas during WWII. On returning home he resided in Fillmore from 1946 until the time of his passing. During his in Fillmore he was active in the Legion, Masons, Shriners, Town Council and involved with coaching and playing in numerous sporting events.

Maurice and Audrey owned and operated the John Deer dealership in Fillmore for many years. During this time he entered into a farming partnership with Albert and Martin Andreas of DeCateur, Illinois, U.S.A. Even though he was busy with farming and running the implement business, Maurice will still able to pursue his favourite pastimes of hunting and fishing. One of the proudest moments of his life was when at the age of 60 he obtained his pilots licence. This gave him a freedom so that when he wasn't in his truck driving slowly he was able to spend his time flying above traffic.

All of Maurice's old fishing, hunting and sports buddies are considered honorary pallbearers. The family would like to thank the staff of the Fillmore Health Center for their care during Maurice's two year them. Florence was born in Luseland SK in 1912. She was one of seven children. In 1933 she married Cleod Macdonald.

They had a family and were happily married until Cleod's death in 1954. Florence returned to the workforce and was a fixture at the switchboard at SaskPower until she retired. Florence was predeceased by her husband, two children, and her siblings. She leaves to mourn her stepson Alvin (Wyn) Macdonald and daughter Dorothy (Nick) Kobak. She is also survived by the lights of her life, her grandchildren: Dianne, Bob, Teresa, and Stephen.

Florence was a proud great grandmother of: Jackie, David, Kim, Tamara, Brandon, Nicholas, Mitchell, and Matthew. She leaves many nieces and nephews with fond memories of Auntie Flo. Florence had many good friends with whom she had many good times. Her grandchildren went for a sleep over and often had four Grandmas to play with and spoil them instead of just one. She traveled with friends to many distant places and enioyed every one of them.

Florence never lost her sense of humor. Even at ninety one she could zing you with a one liner to make you laugh. We would like to thank the staff and nurses of Parkside Extendicare for the care given to Florence during her stay there. Dad passed away peacefully at Pioneer Village on October 27, 2003 at the age of 82 with his family by his side. Harold is predeceased by his son Harold George in infancy, his parents George and Elizabeth Lloyd, brother Robert and sisters Dorothy and Betty. Harold will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 60 years, Rose, daughters Jorie (Ray) Kutcher, Margaret (Les) Matts, Lolly (Rick) Hicks, Donna (Brent) Machuk and son Michael (Susan) Lloyd, as well as his sister Alice Willison.

He will be greatly missed by his twelve grandchildren Christine, Kyla, Nolan, Jason, Carla, Doug, Amanda, Kerry, Nicolas, Victor, Jessica and Jeremy, and four great-grandchildren Keely, Emily, Aby and Sammy and his faithful dog Scrappy. He also leaves numerous nieces, nephews and relatives in England with fond memories. Harold was born in Archydal, SK on April 24, 1921. He lived in Moose Jaw for fourteen years, then later moved to Punnichy with his family where he attended Lakewood Vale School. He had to quit school to help his parents on the farm.

Harold met Rose in 1941 and they were married on May 12, 1943 and farmed in the community for five years. They then moved to Regina where Harold worked at the Regina Hotel and Army Navy. A few years later, Harold obtained his Journeymen Electrician's papers and worked at Robert Simpsons for 31 years. He took early retirement and enjoyed golfing, fishing, golfing, travelling, golfing, being at the cottage, golfing and especially spending time with his family and golfing. Dad had a very dry sense of humor and had a smart comment about everything to everyone.

He enioyed laughing and making people laugh. A celebration of Harold's life will be held on Saturday, November 1st at 1:00 P.M. at Canadian Martyrs Parish, 1932 1st Ave. North, Regina with Father Patrick McCoy officiating and interment to follow Riverside Memorial Park. Special Thanks to Lorna and Kim of 3W at Pioneer Village for their compassionate care to Dad and the family during this most difficult time.

KUNTZ-CLEMANS passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, October 28, 2003 at the age of 84. HANTKE- -Martin, second son of Gustav Martha Hantke, was born on September 6, 1912 and raised on a homestead farm about five miles Southwest of Carmel, Saskatchewan. Work on the farm delayed formal education but, a keen student, Martin completed the first eight in six years, took grades nine to eleven by correspondence while working on the farm, and then completed grade twelve and Normal school in Saskatoon. A nineyear teaching career in five different Saskatchewan communities was punctuated by a stint in the Canadian Army from 1942 1946 and then three years operating his own farm near Red Cross, SK. Martin married Helen Reves of Bruno, SK in 1943, and during the army, farming teaching years, daughter Mariorie, son Glenn and daughter Heather were born.

In 1953, Martin moved the family to Regina and began working for the Coop Oil Refinery where he continued in warehousing and construction carpentry positions until his retirement in 1977. Martin continued to live in Regina following 3 Helen's passing in 1978 and worked as a Commissionaire for a number of years. Throughout his life, Martin was a keen student, avid reader gardener, faithful husband, and reliable helper in his family and church. Martin moved to Melfort in 1997 to be closer to family, and enjoyed good health until he suddenly went to be with our Lord on October 28, 2003 at the age of 91 years. Martin is survived by his son Glenn (Maren) Hantke of Melfort, his daughter Heather (Michael) McLeod of Edmonton, four grandchildren Erin, Garret Laurel Hantke and Clair McLeod; one sister Martha (Fred) Vance of Portage La Prairie, several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife Helen (nee Reves); his daughter parents brothers Gustav Henry, Ernest Martha Alfred and two sisters Margaret Ratch Freda Ratch. The Funeral Service will be held from the Park Avenue Bible Church, Melfort, SK on Friday, October 31, 2003. 03 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Larry Woelke and Rev. Charles Lees officiating.

A Memorial Service will be held from the Southside Pentecostal Assembly, 41 Birchwood Regina, SK. on Saturday, November 1, 2003 at 1:30 P.M. Interment will follow in Regina Memorial Gardens. The Honorary Pallbearers are Louis Reves, Kal Megyesi and Fred Reves. The Active Pallbearers are Lyle Reves, Ken Hantke, Brian Hantke and Garret Hantke.

Glenn Hantke and grandchildren will give the eulogy. Soloist Heather Hantke; Organist Emmie Berstad; Pianist Myrna Lees. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Canadian Bible Society or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
