O'ympie nthletes TRICK to N. CAROLINA 5f06 TRIED PUSHED IN NON LEAGUE IT Matt Rausch's Kane High Wolves face real trouble tonight when they bump into the Ridgway High Elkers on the Ridgway Armory court. Ridgway will take the floor with an in and out club that can be very tough on a given night. The Wolves had a fairly easy time beating Ridgway here Dec. 13, 58 51.

But both teams have change considerably since then. Tonight's varsity game is scheduled for 8 p. following 7 p. m. Junior Varsity game.

The Kane Jay vees are expected to win their 15th game of the season in the preliminary. One of RaUsch's problems, going into tonight's game, will be to keep the Wolves from looking past this game and taking the Elkers too lightly. Kane's big game, of course, comes up here Friday night when Punxsutawney High comes to town. Punxy nipped Sykesville, 59 58, last night at Punxsutawney. Ridgway will be playing Its final game tonight and may have five seniors in its starting lineup James (Bleak) Allegretto, Gary McQuone, Bob Hoare, Jim Zimmerman and Dick Herzog.

Junior Buddy Buhite is a possible starter in Herzog's place. The Elkers definitely found themselves Friday night, drubbing the strong St. Marys Public team, 76 58, on this same Armory, floor. Buhite scored 24 points in that game Ridg way's best showing of the season as the Elkers displayed good teamwork, passing skill and balanced scoring. Honre and Zimmerman scored 18 points each and Allegretto had 12 against St.

Marys. That victory spells trouble for Kane since St. Marys upset Kane, 56 50, only two weeks ago. Ridgway could atone somewhat for a disappointing season by winning tonight. The Elkers hnd been expected to have one of the finest teams in Ridgway history in preseason Indications The Elkers have a 11 9 won lost record and finished In fourth place in the Mountain League with a 5 5 mark.

Rausch is expected to stick with the lineup that has given him three straight impressive victories over DuBois, Bradford and Clearfield. That would include Mike Swanson and co captain Dick Oyler at forward, Gary Smith at center, and Sonny Bush and co captain Tom Thompson at guard. Mike Carlson and Dave Miller are the first line substitutes.
