Steve died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family after a four year battle with colon cancer. Steve is survived by his loving wife Samantha; their two daughters Annah and Gabriella: parents Dan and Karen (Lane); and brothers Jason Valeska Porras and their daughter Izabella) and Ryan. Steven's family wishes to thank Dr.

Clein and Linda Bodnarchuk for their special attention and caring visits to the home. Special thank you to Steve's Aunty Daph. who sacrificed her Palliative Care duties at St. Paul's Hospital to care for Steven in his last two weeks. Because of her, Steve was able to spend his final days at home with his family.

A VISITATION for family and friends will be held at the Regina Funeral Home, East, Regina, SK on Sunday, May 29, 2011 from 1:00 3:00 p.m. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at the RCMP Depot Chapel, 6101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK on Monday, May 30, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. with interment to follow at the RCMP Cemetery. Steven fought a long and brave battle with cancer, never complaining, always ensuring everyone was taken care of. He will be forever loved and always in our hearts. McDonald occurred on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at the age of 78 years. Bruce was born April 2, 1933 in Saskatoon, SK.

He was predeceased by his wife, Barbara Macnab; his parents, Veda and Chris; brothers, Keith and Myles; and grandson, Devin. Bruce is survived by a step daughter, Shelly, and his children, Margo, Chris, Evonne, Laurel, Cheryl, Garth, Colleen and Blair; his brother, Orville and sisters, Sharron and Lorraine. He was 'Papa' to 17 grandchildren and 5 great- grandchildren. Bruce was a journeyman painter for 23 years and spent an additional 23 years as Business Manager for the Painters and Allied Trades in the Province of Saskatchewan until his retirement in 1996. He was a long time member of the Saskatchewan Labour Relations Board representing Labour.

Throughout his career he shared his knowledge and wisdom and developed many lasting friendships. Bruce enjoyed many summers fishing at Besnard Lake with his family and friends, creating lasting memories. At Bruce's request, a private interment was held for family on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Woodlawn Cemetery Columbarium, Arrangements have been entrusted to Prairie View Chapel and Crematorium. -1566304 Spanier, Erin (nee Gaffney) It is with great sadness that the family of Erin Victoria Spanier announces her passing. Erin was born in Regina, SK on March 27, 1979 and passed away with family by her side in Seattle, WA on Sunday, May 15, 2011 at the age of 32 years.

Erin's greatest love was her family and nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her three boys husband Ryan and sons Liam and Ethan. Erin's life will be forever celebrated by her parents, Brian and Beth Gaffney, her sister Tricia (Jason Scott), brother David (Teresa Ciccone), and her niece and nephews Hannah, Carter, Luca and Dante. She will be lovingly remembered by Ryan's parents, Garry and Arlene Spanier, his brother Mike (Donna), their children Tony and Dylan, and grandmothers Bregita Spanier and Bernice Giesz. She also leaves several aunts, uncles, cousins and a long list of friends who will miss her dearly. Erin lived her life with humour, pride, determination and loyalty.

She shared her love for others in her own quiet ways and we are forever grateful for the time we had with her. We will honour her life through the stories and memories we will continue to share with her sons. Her boys will always know how special she was and how much their Mommy loved them. A celebration of Erin's life will be held at a later date. Born in Findlater, Saskatchewan, Edith was predeceased by husband George Bomphray; son Clinton Bomphray; and sister Brenda Murtsell.

She is survived, by Shelley son Keith Bomphray Bomphray of Regina; and daughter Karen Robson, daughter-in-law Susan Cantan and sister Celia Royce of Toronto; brother Brian Ball of Nanaimo, British Columbia: as well as her faithful friends Kim Korven and children Regina; and numerous nieces and nephews. Edith and her late husband George were instrumental in creating and organising Buffalo Days in Regina and participated in such community events for many years. She was also an avid curler and Roughrider supporter. She worked for the Saskatchewan Provincial Government and after retirement worked a further several years at People's Jewellers in Regina, quickly becoming their top salesperson. Well known for her sense of style and modish clothes, she modelled in local fashion shows into her seventies.

Edith loved to travel and visited Barbados, Jamaica, Hawaii, Australia, Grand Cayman, Panama and many parts of Canada and the United States. Further to her wishes, cremation will take place and no funeral service will be held. The Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 27, 2011 at 1:30 pm at the chapel of the Saskatoon Funeral Home (338 4th Avenue N). Edythe is survived by her son Don and his wife Roberta of Regina, and their children Mathew of Regina and Dawn of Calgary, daughter Debby and her husband Sandy McCannell and their children lan (Melissa) and Amaya, AJ (Tarra) and Alaina, Slywka (Ryan) all of Saskatoon and Dave (Amber), Royce and Jagger of Edmonton; brother Don Wheaton (Marion) of Florida and many special nieces and nephews. Edy was predeceased by her husband Ian Stockan, parents Albert and Electa Wheaton, sister Marion Thompson (Fred), brother Cecil Wheaton (Eileen) and infant sister. Edy was born on August 2, 1919 in Saskatoon.

She received her elementary and high School education in Saskatoon. She then attended the University of Saskatchewan receiving, her Bachelor of Commerce Degree and played basketball for the of Huskies. Edy married Ian Stockan on October 14, 1942. They shared 52 years together. They spent their early years in P.A., Ottawa and Saskatoon before making there home in Langham.

Edy was very active in the church, Sunday School and UCW. There were very few Sundays that the minister and family didn't join us for lunch after church. Edy's love of sports stayed with her throughout her whole life. Besides basketball, she curled competitively, swam and played golf. A true Saskatchewan Roughrider, Edmonton Oiler and curling fan.

Her TV was always tuned to sports. Edy's family also benefitted from her talents of knitting, crocheting, cross-stitch, sewing and ahh her chocolate cakes and saskatoon berry Ian and Edy spent many summers at Jackfish Lake and winters in Florida. Edy aged gracefully. She taught us patience, acceptance, courage and love. Edy's family wish to express their deepest thanks to all the staff at Oliver Lodge for their extra ordinary care and concern for all of us.

He was predeceased by his brother, Sean William, in infancy, his grandparents, Milton Thom, Ann and Steve Jankiewicz.

Mike leaves to mourn his wife and kindred spirit Katrina (nee Matz), his parents Reg and Diane Thom, his in-laws, Larry and Eleanor Matz; Laura Matz; Carla, Trevor, Olivia Carlson; Joe, Kyla, Hannah, Emmett Matz; his grandmother Dorothy Thom; long time friends Dave, Dustin, Ian and Mike; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Mike grew up in Regina and attended Sherwood School and Thom Collegiate. He enjoyed a career in the commercial door industry and most recently as a bus driver with Regina City Transit. Mike was a big hearted generous person with a great sense of humour. Mike was a Roughrider football fan and enjoyed watching the games on TV, at the field or listening on the radio.

He was a self proclaimed computer geek and assisted his family with his techno abilities. Special thanks to Dr. Moustapha and the coronary care and surgical team at the Regina General Hospital. A Celebration of Mike's Life will be held Saturday, May 28th at 11:00 am, at Lee Funeral Home, 3101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina SK.
