She enioyed family gatherings and visits with friends over dinner or a cup of tea. She left her place of birth in Lumsden, Saskatchewan to come to Kimberley in 1988. She loved her little home at Valley View Manor in Marysville and was very pleased to have met "so many nice people" here. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Marianne and son-in-law Alan Ansell, her grandson Jan Kadlec, sisters Mae Rieter, Dorothy Nicholson, Jean Schmitke, Anne (Gordon) Zuber. Brothers George (Hazel) Bakeweli and Jerry (Lois) Bakewell.

She is also survived by her sister-in-law Laura Gienow as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband and companion Wally Rennick in 1982, her parents Edith and Harry Bakewell, and a sister Louise. Also by brothers and sisters-in-law Ralph Rieter, Bill Nicholson, Len Schmitke, Dr. Coulter and Marguerite Rennick, Gordon and Anne Rennick, Kathleen and Ivan Seed, Beth and Clarence Davey and Jim Gienow. Tt 1 MARY EILEEN BANCROFT Mary Eileen Bancroft passed away peacefully on June 1, 2006 at the William Albert House, Emerald Park, shortly after her 102nd birthday. Eileen was born on May 24, 1904 in Areola, North West Territories, the first of five children of George and Lucy Bancroft. She moved with her family to Regina in 1913, and has resided in Regina all her long life.

Eileen worked 44 years for the Regina Sash and Door Company, retiring in 1967 as Secretary-T reasurer and a Director. She was dedicated to her family all her life, and looked after her mother for many years after her father died in 1946. She had a large number of friends and admirers through her strong association with different organizations such as the Business and Professional Women's Club (for which she was Treasurer for 25 years), the Council of Women, the Monarchist League, and especially St. Mary's Anglican Church where she has been a member since 1916. Her 80 years service (1921 2001 to the Altar Guild at St.

Mary's may well be a record in the Anglican community world-wide. An ardent monarchist, some of her fondest memories were related to visits of the Kings George, Queen Elizabeth, and other members of the Royal family. Eileen enioved robust physical and mental health nearly all her life, with remarkable personal determination and stamina, good humor, and great compassion for others less fortunate. At her 100th birthday party on May 22, 2004, about 150 friends and family celebrated her life during a reception from 2 5 pm, and a dinner for 45 friends from 6 9 pm. She enioyed greeting everyone, and gave the first formal speech of her life.

Eileen leaves a nephew Michael Bancroft (Joan) in London, ON, a niece Louise Gaudreau in Montreal, great-nephew David Bancroft (Michelle), great-nieces Catherine Bancroft and Maryanne Fortin (Jean-Phllippe), great-great nephew Ethan in London and a great-great niece Alys in Montreal. Cremation has taken place with Speers Funeral Chapel handling all arrangements. A Memorial Service to celebrate her long and fruitful life will take place on Friday, June 9, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Anglican Church, 3337 15th Avenue with Rev.

Claude Schroeder officiating. A reception will follow. Interment in Regina Cemetery. The family would like to thank care-givers who helped Eileen so much in the last ten years; her neighbour Gloria Erickson (now in Victoria, BC), Jackie Stenzil, many St. Mary's parishioners, staff at the Bentley and William Albert House, Home Care and We Care.

Otto L. Hoedel of Coaldale, Alberta passed away at his home on Friday May 26, 2006 at the age of 89 years. He was born August 20, 1916 in Grayson, Saskatchewan. Josef joins his beloved wife Theresia, father Joseph Bahr, mother Christine Just, sister Maria Schweizer, and brothers Alexander and Lawrence Bahr. Josef was born on March 15, 1926 in Alt Klosterdorf, Ukraine. He came to Canada in 1952 and began his life here as a farm labourer. He returned to Germany and married Theresia Kraus on Feb.

23, 1957 and brought her to Canada soon after to begin a new life. He started his career with Bird Construction and worked for them for almost 30 years. Weyburn, Sk. (306) 842-5432 ZUROWSKI, EDWIN JOHN Of Southey, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2006 at 92 years of age. He is predeceased by his wife Frances in 2001, his parents, infant sisters Johanna and Natalie, brothers Karl, Herman and Fernie. Edwin is survived by his children Rosemarie (Vic), Leonard (Monica), Mike (Angie): grandchildren Ross, Neil (Sue), Tom, Christianne, John, Dan (Sundee), Mark (Juanita), Michael (Tracy) and nine great grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters Emilia Tyerman, Evelyn Mildren, and Loreen Pipe, and brother Raymond.

Edwin was born in Southey, SK. He farmed until joining the R.C.A.F. during the Second World War and severed In Canada and England. He then returned to farming and buying grain for 27 years. After retiring from buying grain he continued to farm and adiust hail crop damage In the province ot Saskatchewan.

Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at 10:30 A.M. In the St. James R.C. Church with Reverend Gary Lindenbach, Celebrant. Prayers will be held at the same church on Monday, June 5, 2006 at 7:30 P.M.
