Vancouver District Scout Headquarters has a new badge secretary in the person of Miss Diane Shildrick. Vancouver district Akela Club will meet at 8:30 p.m. in Christ Church crypt, Monday. The 83rd Beaconsfield United Ladies Auxiliary have held a successful tea and aproa sale. Mrs.

Thorburn reports Billy Lewis passed his artist's badge. Scoutmaster W. Duncan presented winter sportsman badges for snowshoeing to patrol leaders Garth Storey, Jimmy Dennis, David McGlynn, Dale Vanderhoof and Tommy Foster. Garth Storey and Jimmy Dennis also received fireman's badges. The 105th Group has held its annual father and son banquet.

Billy Kyle has been invested into Scouts. Scoutmaster E. Morris had troop at Haney over Easter weekend assisted by one of the Scout fathers, George Buchanan. Scoutmaster Arthur W. Money of 1st Bradner Troop reports his troop helped remodel Community Club Hall in Bradner for their annual flower show.

Twenty-two proficiency badges have been awarded this season to date. Patrol leaders John Woolliams and Ted Hannah received their Queen's Scout badges from District Commissioner J. B. Laid-law at Summerland. James McLuckie is new Cub-master of 2nd Castlegar pack The 1st Ladysmith Scout troop took orders for 500 dozen hot cross buns before Easter to raise troop funds.

Melvin Galloway walked 20 miles and sold 71 dozen to be top salesman. Nanaimo branch of Moose Lodge has formed a new Cub pack with D. Wishart as Cub-master assisted by Bob Jones. Mayor Joseph Kary 'presented Queen's Scout badges to Robert Parker and Robert Jennejohn of 1st Nelson troop. Akela Winnie Bennett of 3rd Victoria Cub pack invested Kathleen Sinclair as an assistant leaden Bobby Goy received his first star.

G. L. Christie was elected chairman of 2nd Rossland Scout group. Secretary W. H.

Mark-land and treasurer Ralph Thompson were re-elected. The fortieth anniversary of the founding of Wolf Cub section of Boy Scout Movement will be celebrated June 16-24. Highlights of celebration will be pack good turns, pack church parades for services of thanksgiving, special emphasis on the training of pack Scouters, the development of jungle atmosphere in packs and the advancement of Cubs in all branches of test work." Second Canadian Rover Moot will be from Aug. 29 to SiJpt. 2 at Sussex, N.B.
