Neither can Rams head coach Steve Bryce. Two years from now youre going to see him 25 pounds heavier than he is now, loaded with muscle and being one of the most dominating defensive linemen in the CIS, not just Canada West, Bryce predicted. Then you sec him play and its like, Man, its a blessing this kid ended up this way. Dheilly saidhc changed his mind about joining the Huskiesbecause he ju wan ted to stay home. In his first career start for the University of Regina Rams, the 18-ycar-old Reginan tied a school record with three sacks in Fridays 32-27 Canada West victory over the University of Calgary Dinos at Mosaie Stadium. Honestly, the sacks didnt matter, the freshman defensive end said after joiningStan Van Sichem and Michael Stefanovic in the of record book for most sacks in a game. So far, so good.

At the beginning of the season, there was a lot of pressure, said Dheilly, who has six solo tackles and four assists through four games. The idea came about from a number of individuals who were pretty well-connected in the business and sport communities. They happened to be attending a Detroit Red Wings game and had seen the Detroit Red Wings hall of fame. They started to say What and were wondering why we didnt have something like that in Saskatchewan. At the time they were brainstorming many of the amazing athletes at the time who hadcomeoutofSaskatchewan who hadnt been recognized. Fifty years and more than 500 inductees later, the purpose of the sports institution is pretty much the same as when it was created.
