Ron was predeceased by his wife Willa, parents, Reginald and Meryle, his brother Reginald and his sister June. He is lovingly remembered by his brother Terry (Olive), sister Linda (AI), children Virginia (Fred) Barnes, Sharon (Nick) Fox, Penny (Rick), Wagman, Ron (Gloria) Bearss, David (Dorothy) Bearss. Ron is also survived by his grandchildren, Nathan (Lisa) Barnes, Jason(Ellie) and Ryan (Karen) Fox. Joshua (Dawn) and Christopher (Kristin) Wagman, Ellen Bearss, Brandi (Joe) North West, Nicole (Shawn) Osier and Shane Bearss. He is also mourned by his great grandchildren Kiana, Owain, Isabel, Fawn, Eric and Bryden.

Ron was a Veteran of the Second World War where he served in the Royal Canadian Navy. Ron and his brother Terry built the first motel in Regina, the Golden West, and later built the New Golden West. Ron was an avid hunter, a passion which he shared with his sons. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Thank You to the staff at Kinmara Care Home for their kindness and support.

An online book of condolences may be signed at www.speersfuneralchapel.com SPEERS 522-3232 JEWISON, Donald Glenn July 25, 1934 April 15, 2010 On Thursday, April 15, 2010, Glenn passed away at the Regina General Hospital. Glenn was born at Grace Hospital in Winnipeg, MB, and was the second child of Violet Clarissa (nee Stewart) Jewison and George Main Jewison.

Glenn was predeceased by his parents George and Violet Jewison; mother-in-law and father-in-law Peter and Grace (nee Scott) Stewart; and brothers Ray and Calvin Jewison. He is survived by his wife Betty: son Michael (Diane Bewick) and their children Daniel and Amelia Jewison of London, ON: daughter Catherine (Pierre LeBel) of Yellowknife, NT; sister Carol (Bert) Belliveau of Calgary: sisters-in-law Ruth Jewison of Calgary and Judy Jewison of Grande Prairie, AB: as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. Glenn, along with his brothers and sister, was raised on the family farm, three miles north of Poplar Point, MB. He received his schooling in Poplar Point and Portage la Prairie, where he completed his Senior Matriculation. Glenn and Betty were married in Winnipeg on August 31, 1957, where they resided until 1971 when they and their two children moved to Regina.

Glenn was employed in the insurance industry, first with Canadian Underwriters and for many years with The Co-operators. During his employment he completed his Associate and Fellowship with the Insurance Institute of Canada. Following his retirement from The Cooperators, he operated his own business, Heritage Inspection Services. Glenn was an active volunteer all his life, devoting much of his spare time and energy to youthorientated programs. In his teen years, Glenn volunteered as a camp counsellor at a United Church camp near Portage la Prairie.

While living in Winnipeg as a young adult, he took the bus to north Winnipeg to coach hockey on an outdoor rink. He joined the Optimist Club of Assiniboia in 1970. As the Optimist motto is 'Friend of he believed that the best way to channel his volunteer work was through the programs of Optimist International. Glenn also served for several years as a School Trustee in the St. JamesAssiniboia School Division and was active in the St.

Charles Community Club and the St. Charles United Church. Following the move to Regina, he joined the Downtowners Optimist Club of Regina, serving in various capacities at the club, district and international level, and ultimately as International Vice-President in 1985 1986. He served two terms as President of the Ranch Ehrlo Society and as a Board Member of Ehrio Community Services. At the time of his passing, he was a member of the Sundown Optimist Club of Regina.

Glenn took great joy in the activities and achievements of his family. He took much pleasure in working in his garden. He spent many happy hours at Ecole Connaught Community School as a volunteer reading tutor, where he enjoyed an amazing rapport with both students and teachers. Glenn lived his life of faith in the United Church of Canada and for many years was an active member of the congregation of Wesley United Church in Regina. A VISITATION will be held on Monday, April 19, 2010 at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy East.

Regina, SK from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A SERVICE OF REMEMBRANCE will be held at Wesley United Church, 3913 Hillsdale Street, Regina, SK on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. with Reverend John Haas and Kim Antosh officiating. Interment will be held at a later date in Kildonan Presbyterian Cemetery, Winnipeg.

A divine liturgy will be concelebrated in Sacred Heart Ukrainian Catholic Church, Wynyard on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. Annie was predeceased by her husband John sons Wilfred and Sylvester and siblings: Mac, Mike, Paul, Lena, Katie, Peter, Joseph and Polly. She is survived by her son Jim (Helen) of Regina; daughter-in-law Cathy of Wynyard; daughter Christine Elaine (Ray) Clark of Regina; son Henry (Beverley) of Wynyard; son Len (Lois) of Kaleden, B.C.: twelve grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren and her siblings: Minnie, Doris, Archbishop Michael, Marion and Irene. Annie will be remembered for her kindness and generosity and for sharing her needlework treasures with family and friends. Marlene was called home to greatest love-to her Lord and Savior on Monday, April 19, 2010 at the age of 69 years.

She is predeceased by her parents, Katy Reihl, Helen Scherle and Philip Scherle. Marlene is survived by her loving family, daughters, Sharon Biller. Dianne Biller Nerland (Mark Nerland), Donna (Raymond) Ayers; grandchildren, MacKenzie Ayers, Kendra Ayers (Kevin Filtau); sister, Doreen Ochitwa: niece, Colleen (Gilles) St. Yves; niece, Leanne (Dale) Brooks and their son, Nathan; nephew, Dave (Gail) Ochitwa and their children, Mitchell, Cassandra: "Aunt Caroline" Hall; dear friend, Pauline and numerous relatives and friends including Ovarian Cancer Survivor Group. Marlene's greatest love was for her Lord and Savior and family.

She was a volunteer in many church activities. 359-7776 -1467740 ANNE MARGARET LANG Anne, aged 93 years and 9 months, passed away peacefully in her sleep, April 16th, 2010, at Luther Special Care Home in Saskatoon. Anne was born in 1910 on a small farm near Winnipeg, the daughter of Franz and Agatha Lang (nee Reiss). She was predeceased by her siblings, Wenzel, Rose. Rudy and Martha, as well as her loving husband, John M. Lang (1909-1988).

John and Anne married in 1932 and farmed near Quinton until 1967 when they retired in Regina. Anne is survived by her five children: Lorraine (Tony, Schneider), Linus (Lucille Gray), Edmund (Linda Kambeitz), James (Mary Ackroyd), and Carol (Barry Games). She also treasured her thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. A lifelong devout Roman Catholic, Anne's abiding faith never wavered. Generous and kind to a fault, she will be remembered lovingly by all who knew her and mostly by her children, to whom she gave the greatest gift of all, life itself.

The family is sincerely grateful to Dr. Tymchak and to the staff of Luther Care for their outstanding professional care and assistance. We are also deeply indebted to Anne's first grandchild, Kathy Kautzman (nee Schneider) for the exceptional care she provided our mother in our absence over the past several years. Vigil for Anne will be held on Thursday, April 22nd, 7:00 pm and the Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, April 23rd. 10:30 both services to be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church (315 Douglas Ave.

He was predeceased by his parents Anton and Catherina Schaefer; his wife of fift years Dorothy Schaffer; his daughter-in-law Lois Schaffer; seven sisters and their husbands Marie (John) Helmer; Lucy (Richard) Flaman; Eleanor (Murray) Zummack; Georgina (Dave) Rogers; Evelyn (Leo Mack) (Bill) Stevens: Tekla (August) Flaman; Isrelina (Charles) Myers; and his brother Bernard; five brothers-in-law Len Dixon; Bob (Mildred) Dixon; Tom (Hertha) Dixon; Don Greer; Art Charlton; four sistersin-law Annie (Fred) Hone: Jessie (Elmer) Anthony: Myrtle (Nick) Theissen; and Ruth Dixon. He is survived by his wife of six years Leona (Drozdowich) Schaffer; his children: Richard (Sharon)and their children Robert (Danielle) and their children Ethan and Carmen; Cathy and Jeff (Jill Becker); Robert (Alexandria) and their children Kelly (Spencer) Parfitt and their daughter Lily; Craig (Lisa) and their children Cole, Logan and Carter: Norma (Mark) Pattison and their children Stephanie (Nick) Thomson and Melanie (Stephen Ignace) Pattison; Darla (Vance) Cassidy and their children Bobbi Yasaka and her children Keira and Kai, Mandi (Ryan Stenquist) Cassidy: Kim (Volker) Ebert and their children Candice, KC, and Cody Holgate; his sister Kathleen (Clete) Buechler; three sisters-in-law Lena Schaffer: Ada Greer: Grace Charlton and one brother-inlaw Art (Edith) Dixon; nieces, nephews and the Drozdowich family. Norm was born at St. Joseph's Colony, Balgonie, on July 13, 1926. Norm married Dorothy in June 1949.

They farmed in Lang, Sask. until moving to Abbotsford in 1974 then to Enderby, B.C. in 1993 until Dorothy passed in 2001. In 2003 Norm married Leona they lived in Armstrong, B.C. where they have resided since.

Norm was an avid gardener and loved a good game of cards. Father, husband you've done us all so proud and the pain is gone. You'll rest in peace safe in the arms of the Lord. Prayers will be held at 7 pm, Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Thursday, April 22. 2010 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church Armstrong, B.C. Reverend Father Tony Ackerman celebrant. Donations in memory of Norm may be made to Hospice House, Vernon, B.C.

Paul was born to Gligor and Anna Sapergia on January 23, 1921, at Regina, SK. He is predeceased by his parents, eldest brother George, elder brother John (Anne), sister Gladys, youngest brother Victor and great-grandson, Scott.

He leaves behind his wife Violet Sapergia, daughter, Paulett Sapergia, son-in-law Chuck French, granddaughters, Lorna (Trevor) Conquergood, Mario (Lee) Morelli, greatgrandchildren Lauren, Julia, Nicholas. Renelle, Martine and Reese and many other dear family and friends. Paul will be dearly missed but never forgotten. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at 1:00 pm at Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Pastor John Duerksen will officiate and burial will take place at Sunset Cemetery.
