She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Christine was also very close to Marie Anne and Elmer Pelletier and Ilona Bellegarde. Christine is survived by a very special aunt and uncle, Olive and Ed Billiet of Regina, who spent many hours of the hospital, just talking and encouraging her along.

Another friend Mervin Elliott, visit her or he would call from some place on whenever he was in town he would stop a by to the road. Christine attended the University of Saskatchewan for a time before working at. Okanese Learning Centre. Christine faught school at OLC where she was much loved by all the children she helped. Christine's love of her life was her children and her job where many little children always asked for her help.

Predeceased by his parents Bert and Rebecca, brothers Lloyd and Bill, father-in-law Stanley Stuffer and brothers-in-law Don and Bob Stouffer. Charlie's memory will forever be cherished by his family; wife Phyllis of 44 years; children: Brenda, Randy (Jeannie) and her sons Rob and Don, Ron (Jennifer), Roberta (Rick) Bolianatz; grandsons Bryson and Tanner Bolianatz; sisters Florence (Gerald) Brigden and Hazel (Alex) Lytwyn; sister Alice Laminman; Mother-in-law Margaret Stuffer; brothersin-law Lew (Anita) Stuffer and Jim (Joyce) Stouffer; sister law Muriel Stouffer as well as nieces, nephews, family and friends. Charlie was born and grew up in Deloraine, Manitoba. His family moved to Regent and then Brandon Manitoba where he met his wife. The two of them moved to Regina and raised four children.

Charlie was a loving husband, father and grandfather and was always heavily involved in family life and activities. Charlie and Phyllis also opened their home and shared their love as caring foster parents for 22 years. Charlie worked for 15 years at McLare Construction and 20 years at the Regina Exhibition Association where he retired in 1990. Charlie was an avid sports fan which also led him to a part time job at Taylor Field. In retirement Charlie enjoyed hobbies, traveling and visiting family but his greatest joy was time spent with his grandsons, Bryson and Tanner.

A SERVICE OF REMEMBERANCE will be held at Rosemont United Church on Monday, December 29, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. Those wishing may make donations in Charlie's memory to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation, 2360 2nd Ave. Regina SK, S4R 1A6. REGINA FUNERAL HOME RUMPEL-Doug, husband, father, and 1922 passed grandpa, away born December November 24, 2003 26, at Wascana Rehabilitation Centre D.V.A.

Wing. Doug was predeceased by his mother and father, and Emily Rumpel, brother Roy, sisters Edna Sands, Lillian Mang and Irene Jackson, several brothers in law and sisters in law and his first wife Lillian (Mang) Rumpel in 1955. He leaves behind his wife of thirty-three years Beth (Robinson) Rumpel and children, Brenda (Ron) Mathieson, grandchildren Jay and Jessica, David (Jana) Dixon, grandchildren Michael and Christina, Linda (Howard) Williamson, grandchild Kelly, Debra (Garry) Graham, grandchildren Tim and Leanna, brothers, Wilbert (Kay) Rumpel, Mervin (Arlene) Rumpel and several nieces, nephews, brothers in law and sisters in law. Doug was born in Balgonie, Sask. He volunteered for the Royal Canadian Navy in 1942, serving in the North Atlantic, Mediterranean and the Far East.

He was discharged in 1946. He then joined the Federal Government Health and Welfare Division and rose to Chief of Old Age Security, retiring on December 30, 1979. Doug was an avid fisherman, curler and bowler, he loved camping and gardening and was a longtime fan of the Roughriders. She is survived by her children; Wayne (Jasmine) of Victoria, Russell of Edmonton, three sisters, Eva Melenchuk of Regina and Anna (Ed) Shire, both of Regina and Esther Tusa of Toronto, brother Arnold (Larrissa) Tusa of Cupar and numerous nieces and nephews. Clara was born at Cupar, and moved to Regina in in 1950. She worked at the Grey Nuns Hospital, Dominion and Safeway stores, and at independent businesses. She her was extremely devoted to her family and faith. Special thanks to Dr.

Predeceased by her parents and brother Roy Simon, Kathleen leaves to mourn, her loving husband of forty-nine years, Harvey; brother George; nephews, Brent and Trevor. She was born near Raymore, Saskatchewan in 1925 and moved to Regina in 1947. In 1954 she was employed with the City of Regina Library, worked for twenty-six years, until her retirement in 1980 as Supervisor of Circulation. A private service will be held at a later date.

Morsky of Regina, SK, age 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on December 24, 2003. Left to cherish Paul's memory is his loving wife of 55 years, Gloria; son Brian (Pat) and their children Bryce, Blake, Erica and Mark; daughter Deb and her children Larissa, Anna and Taisa; son Wayne (Carole) and their children Graham, Falynn, Rachel, and Jared.

Paul will also be deeply missed by his brother Nick (Verna) of Estevan, sister Nell (Maurice) of Winnipeg and their families, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews, in-laws and his family in Ukraine. Paul was born on December 6, 1924 in Chernivetski, Ukraine. He immigrated to Canada in 1928 and settled with his parents, Anna and Joseph, in Lac Du Bonnet, Manitoba. At the age of 14, Paul began farming with his father. Shortly after Paul turned 20, he purchased his first crawler tractor and began his land clearing business.

In 1948, Paul married Gloria Buhay and their lives were blessed with three children. In 1954, Paul and Gloria moved to Virden, Manitoba, where they ventured into business in the oil patch industry. The family business expanded to include grid road construction. In 1973 in Whitewood Paul Morsky Ltd. completed the of many highway contracts.

The company Paul founded remains a strong and wellrespected family business in the earthmoving industry. In 1982, Paul and Gloria relocated to Regina. Paul was an active member and strong supporter of the Roadbuilding industry. He served as President of the Roadbuilders Heavy Construction Assoc. of Sask.

in 1984, continuing as President of the Western Canada Roadbuilders and Heavy Construction Assoc. in 1985. Through this industry, Paul developed many friendships. Paul's greatest time" life was his family, especially the he spent with his grandchildren. Paul could often be found at hockey rinks, soccer pitches, ski hills, dance centres, school gyms or simply at the shop watching or playing with his loving grandchildren.

Although Paul will no longer be physically present, his spirit will always remain strong in the memories of his grandchildren. Paul's final years were spent as a resident at the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre. His family would like to thank his wonderful caregivers, especially his best buddy, Beth Lakeman. A celebration of Paul's life will be held on Monday, December 29, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Roman Catholic Parish 5020 Sherwood Drive.

His love of the outdoors filled his life and brought together so many to share his adventures. Fisherman, golfer, gardener, wonderful carpenter: his talents spilled over into the lives of all who he encountered. He gave his heart wholly, loved us all beyond measure, and will forever live in our hearts and memories.

Thelma passed away in Regina, Saskatchewan on December 24, 2003 at the age of 82 years. She was the eldest daughter of Gladys and Robert Hays, and had one younger sister Ann. Thelma met Henry Kreutzer, her life partner, and they were married on March 4, 1940. During the 56 years of marriage they raised a family of six sons and three daughters. Thelma loved God, church, life, people and most of all: she loved her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Thelma was predeceased by her husband Henry Kreutzer, her parents, Robert and Gladys Hays. Predeceased by his father Felix, Joe is survived by Kathleen, his loving wife, of 51 years; mother Maria; sister Jenny (Andre) Chapdelaine and family; children Ed (Katherine) Wasiak of Lethbridge and their family Jason, Michael and Tamara; Christine (Dennis) Kessel of Regina their family Sandra, Jaya, Shaun and Jonathan; Colette (Wayne) Bischoff of Saskatoon and their family Laura, Adam and Anthony; Marcia (Michael) Scott of Regina and their family Sarah and Matthew; Teresa (Dan) Lee of Calgary and daughter Clare. Later, he shared his knowledge by teaching for one year at the Saskatchewan Technical Institute (STI) in Moose Jaw, then at Miller Comprehensive High School Regina for another 25 years.

A funeral mass and celebration of Joe's life will be held at St. Martin Catholic Church, 4720 Castle Road, Regina, SK on Monday, December 29, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. with Father Ken Miller officiating. Special thanks to Drs. Ekong and Spivack and staff of SICU and 5A at RGH and Dr.

Predeceased by her parents, Bartholmew and Bridget Mahoney, her sisters, Mae O'Connor, Annie Kealey, Irene Kennedy Carrol, Edna Daly, her brothers Basil, Ray, Ernie, Clement and William. Besides the members of her community, she leaves to mourn many nieces and nephews. Sister Bertha entered the Grey Sisters of the Immaculate Conception, Pembroke, Ontario in 1932. Sister spent her ministry as a Lab Technician in Pembroke General Hospital, Penetang, Sault Ste. Marie, and Lestock, Saskatchewan.

In her retirement years she continued to work with seniors as a sacristan at Villa Madonna Retreat House, Ottawa, Lorrain Convent, Pembroke and Marianhill. She was predeceased by her loving husband Martin in 1994; daughter Mary in 1960; parents Peter and Gertrude Novak; sisters Alvina Wiley, Gertrude Ruhr, and Joanne Ehrmantraut; brothers George Novak, John Novak, and numerous in-laws.

Eva is survived by children Alvina (James) Breckenridge of Edmonton, AB, Val (Margaret) Morhart of Torquay, SK, Ray Morhart (special friend Judy), Greg (Susan) Morhart, and Gina (Elmar) Winkler of Regina, SK. Eva's grandchildren Darin (Chantal), Sheri (Colin) and their daughter Abigail, all of Edmonton, AB; Bartley (Christa) and their children Carina and Tyson of Calgary, AB; Michelle (Doug) of Cochrane, AB; Carrie (Cory) of Yorkton, SK; Heather of Regina, SK; and Kendra of Winnipeg, MB. Her brothers Bill Novak, Jack (Valerie) Novak, sisters Helen Novak and Lena (Wenzel) Zimmer. There are also many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends who loved and will miss her. Eva was born near Killaly on December 14, 1917.

She was a strong and independent woman, yet caring and compassionate to all that came to know her. Before marrying, she worked at St. Peter's Hospital in Melville and then again at Regina General Hospital after the family moved to Regina in 1961. Eva and Martin raised their five children to respect and care for others. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren, gardening and in her later years, puttering in her children's gardens.

Shirley Barker-Kirby late of Regina, Sask, formerly of Nelson and Trail, B.C. passed away following courageous struggle with cancer on Friday, December 26, 2003 at the age of 62 years. Mike died December 25, 2003, after a long and courageous struggle with illness.

A dedicated surgeon, Mike was a leader in the orthopedic field throughout the valley. He loved all kinds of music, especially jazz. Along with his passion for life, Mike possessed a keen sense of wit and humor that enriched the lives of all around him. He is survived by his wife and friend Linda, six children, Margaret (Gary), Leslie, John (Karen), Judy (James), Sue (Steven) and Barb, step-children Brent (Jennifer), Kelly (Lisa), and ten grandchildren. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the doctors and staff of Kelowna General Hospital Emergency Department, Rehabilitation, Physio and 4 East, as well as Cottonwoods Hospital for their care and kindness.

In accordance with Mike's wishes, there will be a private family service, At Mike's request, no flowers. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
