It is with great sorrow the family of Dick Gareau of Montreal announce his peaceful passing on Saturday, April 15th after a lengthy illness. Even up until his last breath, his strength of character and love for life were inspirational to US all. Predeceased be his parents Dr.

Urban and Irene Gareau of Regina, first wife Thyra Skonnard, and brother-in-law Roy Rudichuk, he is survived by his wife Maggie Simard Gareau, children David (Monica), Collette (Steve), Julie (Mark), Richard Jr. (Nadia), Michel (Carrie), Adrien (Blanca), Paul (Flor), Daniel, Jennifer, siblings Dr. Paul (Ginny) Gareau of Victoria, John (Eddie) Gareau of Calgary, Yvonne Rudichuk, Donelly (Lyell) Armitage, of Regina, Jewell (Dave) Wahlstrom of Sandy, Utah, 23 grandchildren, and numerous nieces nephews. Born in Regina in 1931 Dick attended Victoria School, Central Collegiate, McGill University and the of A. in Edmonton.

He practised law in Montreal after being called to the Quebec bar. Arrangements are being handled by Collins, Clare, MacGillvray, White Funeral Home 5610 Sherbrooke West, in Montreal. (NEE SCHIENBEIN)-With so much grace and with such great courage, mom passed away peacefully on April 15, 2006, to be with God and her family, at the age of 84. She was born on Valentine's Day, February 14, 1922 in Southey, Saskatchewan. Mom was predeceased by her loving husband Vern on February 23, 1990; her parents Mary and Phillip; her son-in-law Ken Underhill, her sister Elsie; and her brothers Phillip, Edwin, Elmer, John; sisters-in-law Cashie and Helen; brother-in-law Henry. Mom will be greatly missed by her loving daughters and their families: Vivian (Harry) Popoff of Teulon, MB, and children Calvin (Cindy), Greg (Corinne) all of Manitoba. Linda (Larry) Sidoryk of Rossburn, MB, and children Cathy (Gerry), Lisa (Terence), Kris all of Manitoba, and Tanya (Cory) of Alberta, Joann Underhill of Regina SK and children of Ontario, Michael (Carrie) of Alberta, Denise (Keith) King of Regina, SK, and children Tyla and Tyler; fifteen great-grandchildren; brother George (Marg) of Regina, sisters-in-law Ella of Toronto, and Helen of Edmonton; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Our sincere, heartfelt "THANK YOU" to all the wonderful nurses at the General Hospital, Pasqua Palliative Care and William Booth Wascana Grace Hospice, to Dr. Vuksic, Dr. Lewis, Dr. Clein and Dr. McMillan.

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being in the profession that you are in, you helped us so very much, more than you will ever know. As well, a special thank you to Marie for staying the nights with mom so that she was never alone and to Liz who was able to stay with mom when Marie was unable to. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina with Pastor Glen Stever officiating. CLASSIFIED Fast Results! 522-SELL (7355) A VI 8 DEATH NOTICES MCCONDACH, GLADYS MARIE LEADER POST DEATH NOTICES POST "Your inside scoop" 8 DEATH NOTICES DOROTHY SHEELEY (HEMINGWAY) August 1914 April 16, 2006 Dorothy Charlotte Sheeley (Hemingway) (nee Clements) was born August 2, 1914 to Montagu and Marion Clements in Calgary, Alberta. She was the eldest of six children and was predeceased by her parents, as well as her stepmother, Lilian Clements; husbands, Stewart Hemingway and Joseph Sheeley; siblings, Bob, Harold, Sid and Clements; sons, Arthur and Bobby Hemingway; and brother- and sister-in-law, Jack and Kay Dunsdon. Dorothy is survived by her sister, Helen Oliver of Lethbridge, AB; daughters, Elizabeth Christensen of Conquest, SK, Charlotte Stephens of North Battleford, SK, Marion Hemingway of La Ronge, SK, and Linda (Keith) Goulet of Regina, SK, along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She grew up in Regina before attending Normal School. Dorothy was among the pioneer teachers on the prairies and taught for eight years until she married R.C.M.P.

officer, Stewart Hemingway, in Regina in 1942. His various postings took them to Regina, Kipling, Radville, Broadview, Melfort and Saskatoon. She returned to teaching in Saskatoon when her children were older and continued until she and Stewart retired to Summerland, B.C. in 1967. After his untimely death in 1970, she married Joe Sheeley in 1976 and they spent many happy years traveling together until his passing in 1984.

Dorothy made many lifelong friends and 'was an active member in community organizations. The Anglican church was a constant part of her life as she was involved in the Choir, taught Sunday School, and was a member of the A.C.W. She belonged to the Eastern Star and was Worthy Matron of the Summerland Chapter. She loved caring for others and always had baking and a place at the table whenever visitors arrived. In addition to her volunteer work, she especially loved babies, her cats, and looking after her yard and garden.

Due to failing health, she returned to Saskatchewan in 1995 to be closer her family, where she remained until her peaceful passing on Easter Sunday. Her family gratefully acknowledges the loving care provided by the staff of Oliver Lodge, her final home. Funeral services will be held at St. Mary's Anglican Church, 3337 15th Regina, SK on Friday, April 21, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be at the Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery.

Albert personified everything that makes a good farmer, his love of the land and livestock were inspiring. WILSON, JOHN 'ALBERT'-After having FOX-On April 13th, 2006, Thelma Sylvia Fox passed away at Parkside Extendacare in Regina, Sask. at the age of 92 years.

Gladys worked for the Saskatchewan Transportation Company in 1960 and in 1969 moved to Victoria and continued her career with BC Ferries as private secretary to the General Manager retiring in 1991. Gladys and Bruce loved to travel and they spent many hours on the road in their R.V. Art, who was predeceased by his parents and two sisters, and his daughter-in-law Laurie, was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Arthur is survived by his wife of 62 years, Cynthia, and four wonderful children, Michael, Faith (Stewart Cameron), Ian and Rafe (Elizabeth Willmott) as well as six lovely grandchildren, Christopher, Robin, Carissa, Brady, Rylan and Madeline. Arthur's faith religion were very important to him and he considered the Franciscans at St. Michael's Retreat house, Lumsden his extended family.

Arthur was proud of his country and enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1941 and served with his squadron in Great Britain, South Africa, India and Iceland. Art loved to work with wood and he spent many hours in his workshop designing and planning the many pieces of fine furniture in his home. Art was an inveterate reader and had books on every subiect in his home library. Art loved his garden, building stone walls, little pools for the birds to use and his rose garden. The Saskatchewan Roughriders will be missing one loyal and true fan Art sat in the same seat for over forty years.

Possibly his greatest legacy will be his own particular brand of humour his smile, his joking manner and his ability, whether for better or worse, to have an answer to your comments or remarks. On Thursday, April 20th, 2006 Friars Bob' Mitchell and Kevin Linch will co-celebrate the Mass of Resurrection at St. Michael's Retreat House in Lumsden at 11 o'clock in the morning. He farmed in the Lumsden area for over 35 years. He was a Charter Member of the Imperial (now the Highland) Curling Club and Life Member of Optimist Club of Regina.
