NELSON, Evelyn of Regina, SK and forthe Glentworth District, SK, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Saturday, October 29, 2005 after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her husband Walter Nelson and her parents Charles and Brookes. Evelyn was born at Woodrow, SK in 1921.

Walter and Evelyn were married in 1949 and began a life together farming in the Glentworth District. retired and moved to Regina in 1997. were actively They involved in farming until their passing. Evelyn was very active in the community; she was a member of the U.C.W., Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Air Force Association, Senior Centre and also taught are her loving children: son Allen and his Sunday School. Left to cherish her memory children Erin (Wayne), Ben (Angela), Candace (Jamie) and their mother Kathy and their grandchildren Averie, Seth and Amber; daughter Sharon (Ted) and their children Teena (Ray), Jocelyn, Kirk (Riane), and Nolan; son Dale (Bev) and their children Troy, Treena and their grandchildren Brayden and Jaxsen; brother Bill (Ethel) Brookes; brother-in-law Roy (Kay); sisters-in-law Phyllis (late drew), Mabel (Roland) and June (late George), who was always there for mom.

Marie was predeceased by her parents Johannes and Petronella Hendriks; two brothers Wim and Jan and three sisters Betty, Nell and Agnes all of Holland. Marie is survived by her loving husband of 59 years Peter; three sons and one daughter: Art Jacobs (Linda) of Regina Beach, SK, Ron Jacobs (Roseann), Edward Jacobs (Maureen) and Pat Donison (George) all of Regina, SK; grandchildren: Jason, Tricia, Vanessa, Dean, Amanda, Kathy, Sabrina, Kyle; great grandchildren: Brooklyn, Tylan, Meagan, Ayden and Courtney; sister-in-law Margaret Geisenger; special niece Nelly Hendriks of Holland, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Paulette passed away peacefully on Friday, October 28, 2005 at the age of 50 years surrounded by her family and friends. Predeceased by her father, Michael in 1998, Paulette is survived by her loving mother Violet of Abbottsford, B.C., her beloved sons Jason of Edmonton and Jonathan (Tammy) and grandsons Blake and Jordan of Regina; her brothers: Jerry, and Bob (Jacquie) of Abbottsford, B.C.; Dwight (Bobbi) of Regina; Mel of Stouffville, her sisters, Mary-Ann (Jim) of Abbottsford, B.C.; and Debbie of Vancouver; plus numerous nieces and Paulette was born February 17, 1955 in Regina and resided most of her life here with some time spent in Abbottsford and Edmonton. She had numerous jobs throughout her working career but held the highest regards for. her co-workers and employment at at the Cook's Insurance. of Stricken with young age 35, Paulette fought a long battle with constant pain and suffering.

She loved life and refused to let her illness break her spirit. Her family are grateful to Paulette's dear friends Betty, Marg, Joan, and Kim for their devotion and loving support. 359-7776 BEGIN-Ferdinand Begin passed away at Moose Jaw Union Hospital on Friday, October 28, 2005 at the age of 89 years. Ferdinand was born Ulric Ferdinand on November 27, 1915. He grew on the farm north of Alida and attended Arbor Vitae and Chapelle Schools. He enlisted in the Army during World War 11 and stationed overseas. After the war he farmed in Alida until retirement.

No matter what Ferdinand did, he did it with passion. Whether it was cards or gardening, it was done with gusto. He travelled to many places Russia, Europe, Cuba and the Caribbean and knew what it meant to live life to its fullest. Ferdinand will be missed by all who knew him. We will miss his award winning smile after a joke or two.

He is predeceased by his second wife, Martha, parents, Ulric and Albertine; brothers: Vincent, Alvin and Cyril, one sister, Irene; sisters-in-law: Leona and Eunice, son-in-law, Bob Bell and a nephew, Douglas. He leaves to mourn his children: David Mali, Africa, Derek (Rhonda) Cochrane, Irene (Rick) Wurster Sherwood Park, Beverly Bell San Diego, Robert (Roberta) Calgary, Amiee (Dale) Kowal Edmonton; his brothers: Clement London, ON, Francis Weyburn, one sister, Bernadette (John) Beriian Regina; twelve grandchildren: Mark, Crystal, Nick, Micheal, Dan, Jesse, Cary, Aaron, Mathew, Heather, Carter and Spencer, as well as many nieces and nephews. Patrick passed away on October 28, 2005 at the age of 74 years. He married Margaret Therens on April 14, 1956. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years; daughter Judy (John) Blackstock of Calgary, her sons Tim (Amanda) and their infant daughter Alexandra and Gary Calgary; daughter Kathy of Milestone; son Dwayne of Milestone and his children Dustin and Sawyer. Patrick was predeceased by an infant son in 1958, his father in 1967, his mother in1961, a brother in and a sister in 2001.

It is with sadness, mixed with gratitude for a life well lived, that we announce the death of George Mathias Gullickson on October 28, 2005, after a brief struggle with cancer. He will be lovingly missed by his wife of fiftyone years, Lorna. George will also be fondly remembered by sons daughters-in-law David and Susan, Blair and Jan, Harley and Donna; and grand-daughters Mandy (Nolan), Kirsten, Taryn and Kelsey. He was a loving brother and brother-in-law of Palma (Spalding SK), Alice (Regina SK), Gary and Audrey (Saskatoon SK), Ivan and Charlene (Uxbridge ON), Wendell and Janine (St.

Catharines ON), Bernie and Ray (Medicine Hat AB), Darryl and Susanne (White Rock BC), and Sandra and Greg (Calgary AB). He was a special uncle to nieces and nephews, a friend to co-workers and colleagues, and a long-time best friend to Ken and Phyllis Weir (Regina SK), George grew up in a family of nine in Naicam SK. A gifted student, free spirit and talented athlete all his life, he loined the Canadian Army in 1940 as a boy soldier. Soon after his return to civilian life in 1947, George began a long and satisfying career with the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool, retiring' in 1988. He and Lorna made a good life, mainly in Regina.

George was a kind and gentle soul whose generosity and warmth touched the lives of many. Thanks to doctors, nurses and staff affiliated with the Pasqua Palliative Care Unit for their excellent care. Thanks as well to neighbours, friends and extended family members for their comforting words and deeds. Friends and family are invited to a celebration of George's life 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 2, 2005 in Broadway United Church, 105 Broadway Avenue, Regina, SK S4N 1B2, with Reverend Jim Balfour officiating.
