REMEMBERING CLASSIFIED SATURDAY, APRIL 8, 2017 LEADER- POST B9 A service to celebrate Gladys' life will be held Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the Silton United Church. Lunch and visiting to follow at the Silton Community Centre. In 2016 Gladys was predeceased by Joe, her husband of 68 years. Her parents, Art and Ella Wildfong: brothers Vernon, Bert Jim; Hazel, Regina, Elaine and Doris; son-in-law, sisters Don Rolfe and infant sister Mary each predeceased her during her 90 years.

Her memory will be cherished by daughter Beverly (Orville); son Ron (Judy); grandchildren Shea, Aaron and Jill; brother, Ray Wildfong. There are also greatgrandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family who will remember her for the important roles she played in the Martin and Wildfong families. Gladys was born and raised on the farm at Craik, Sk. In 1945 she attended Business School in Saskatoon, then worked in the office at the Dairy Pool. She met Joe, the love of her life at a dance and later married him.

Life, as a Silton farm wife and command central for the family, included many roles of community service including the UCW. Legion Auxiliary, Sunday School, 4-H leader, Community Club, snowplow club, curling club. The family wishes to thank the compassionate staff at the LMPH in Strasbourg for their exceptional care these past 8 years. Donations in memory of Gladys may be made to LMPH Foundation in Strasbourg. Alzheimers Society of Saskatchewan or a charity of choice.

Her career with Revenue Canada took her to Regina and Winnipeg. After her retirement she lived in Regina Beach, Mortlach, Moose Jaw and finally College Park Retirement Home in Regina. There was always laughter wherever she went. Those who heard her tell the story of the trip through the carwash in Moose Jaw with her window down would understand best how she mastered the art of humour. Eileen was a lover of golf and spending time in the casino.

At her request no funeral service will be held. Special thanks to the staff of the Regina General and Pasqua Hospitals and to Susan Getzlaf for the many hospital visits. Flowers gratefully declined. She was predeceased by her husband Kennedy Miller and special friend Gordon Gillis. Eileen is survived by her siblings Ken Knight, Murray (Bernice) Knight and Muriel Campbell; many nieces and nephews and the Gillis family. Ollie was born in Leroy, Saskatchewan spending his youth in Fort Qu'appelle before moving to Regina.

He proudly joined the RCAF serving in WWII. When he returned to Regina, Ollie's career focused on helping veterans through his position with Veteran's Affairs. This is also where he met Ruby Trumbley whom he shared his life with for 60 years, and was still living in the home they made together when he passed away. Ollie was predeceased his wife Ruby in 2013. He is survived by his daughter Cathy, (Rob) Hobday; granddaughter Hobday: grandson Michael (Samantha) Hobday and their son Holden James: sister-in-law Wilma Trumbley: numerous nieces and nephews; cherished neighbors and Cathy's amazing friends Greg and Donna Wilchuck.

Ollie loved woodworking, fixing things, hunting and curling however the highlight of his life was being Michael's and Kayla's grandpa. He was their biggest supporter when he could, be it at the hockey rink, speed skating oval or any other activity they participated in. The ultimate for Ollie, however, was when Kayla chose to become an officer in the Royal Canadian Air Force last summer. His pride could absolutely not be measured. When Michael's son was born two weeks ago, making him a great Ollie's life was truly complete.

Although he never met Holden, picture was the last thing Ollie clearly saw. Cremation has taken place. A private service and interment will held at a later date. He was predeceased by his father George; paternal grandparents Vincent Missens and Maggie Fiddler; maternal grandparents George and Eliza Obey. He will be lovingly remembered by daughter Shyra Missens (Mike) and her children Natalie, Mikael Lukas; mother Evelyn Missens; siblings Sharon (Reg) Desjarlais, Kevin (Brenda), Darcy (Doris), Hilda, Trudy, Eddie and Crystal: numerous uncles, aunts, mushums and kokums, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. SPEERS 306-522-3232 DOROTHY "DOT" IRENE NABISS-BRIERE (nee McCUNE) February 23, 1923 April 3,2017 Dot passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, April 3, 2017. She was predeceased by her parents John and Blanche McCune: brothers Edward (Bernice), Gordon (Edna). Norman and Kenneth; sisters Margaret (Lionel), Edna (Chuck and Vestervig), Sadie (Vic) and Florence; brother-in-law Cecil Smith; her first husband Arthur Briere, second husband Joseph Nabiss; and sons-in-law David Smith and Leonard Holt.

She will be dearly missed by her seven children, twenty grandchildren and twenty-four greatgrandchildren: son Bryan (Robin) Briere, children Riley. John and Wayne; son John (Shirley) Briere, son Michael, son Steven (Jennifer), children Kyle, Samantha, Dilan and Elora, and son Scott (Bonnie); daughter Betty Holt, son Jason (DeeDee), children Jessie, Kassidy and Courtney, daughter Rhonda, her son Brody, son Perry (Stacey), children Mason, Avery, Lincoln and Addisyn; daughter Irene Smith, son Tyler (Gillian), their son Ozzie, and daughter Milah; daughter Sue (Don) Hay, son Dan (Mel), children Eden, Tyce and Luke, daughter Carly (Mike) Reeder, children Macey, Brooke and Sadie; son Ray (Darlene) Briere, son Bryan (Kristen). their daughter Gabrielle, daughter Lyndsay (Scott) Moskal, children Annabel and Adalyn, son Jerrod (Jennifer), children Malia and Harrison: and daughter Janet (Chris) Exner, children Chayla, Joshua, Jaylyn and Jordyn. Also to mourn are brothers Ross (Addie) McCune and Roy (Angie) McCune: sisters Elsie Collins, Myrtle Smith, and Gladys (Don) Grant, and numerous nieces and nephews. Dot grew up on a farm near Disley, Saskatchewan.

At sixteen she went work in Regina. She met and married Arthur Briere on June 7, 1943. Art and Dot raised seven children until his death on September 30, 1976. She married Joseph Nabiss, on July 22, 1983. They had fourteen years together until his passing on May 17.1997.

She thoroughly enjoyed her return to the beach life in her later years and was granted her last wish to die peacefully at home surrounded by family knowing she was in God's hands. All are welcome to join in a Celebration of Dot's Life on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Lee Funeral Home, 3101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at St.

Ozzie Slobodian PARAGON 359-7776 FUNERAL CREMATION SERVICES It is with great sadness that the family of Edith Lydia Tawar (Rich) wishes to announce that Edith passed away unexpectedly on March 21, 2017, in Surrey, British Columbia, at the age of 67. Edith was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, on August 24, 1949 and was predeceased by her parents William (Alec) and Lydia Rich; her eldest sister Jean and brother-in-law Roy (Olsen): and, her two brothers. Toby and Maurice Rich. She is survived by her sister Joan (Rich); her sons Ted (Heidi) and David (Natalie) Patterson: her three grandsons James (Ted) and Xander Peyton (David); and, her many nieces and their families. Edith lived more than half of her life in Saskatchewan, where she for 25 she years attended at the the Pasqua University Hospital, of Regina to complete her Bachelor of Social Work 1998.

Edith relocated to British Columbia, where she worked for the Ministry of Children and Family Development until 2013, when she retired once and for all from her professional life. She found great personal meaning in her work, providing a voice for at risk children and families, and she made a positive difference in many lives. Edith enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her dear grandsons, who represented for her the highest reward in life. Xander, Peyton and James will all miss their Grandma. Finally, though Edith travelled the world extensively in her later years, she nevertheless yearned to return to Saskatchewan.

Now it is time for her to come home.
