FLAHR Mrs. Rose Flahr of Pioneer Village, Regina, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 1993 at the age of 81 years.

Born at Kerrobert, she was raised and educated there. She married Alexander Flahr in 1931 and the couple moved to Moose Jaw In the early 1940's. Rose moved to Regina after her husband's passing. She will be remembered for her gentle, caring and helping manner. She especially enioyed preparing meals for those who needed them.

Predeceased by her parents; husband, Alex; son, Raymond; three sisters and one brother. She is survived by four sons: Alex (Evelyn) of Regina, Bill (Delores) of Saskatoon, John of Toronto; Bob (Sandra) of Moose Jaw; two daughters: Adeline (Morley) Walsh of Toronto, and Lorraine Flahr of Toronto; many grandchildren; and great grandchildren; one brother, Paul; and two sisters: Theresa and Helen. Prayer Services will be held at THE CHURCH OF OUR LADY, 566 VAUGHAN STREET, FRIDAY, APRIL 2, 1993 AT 8:00 P.M. Edith Cragie Sheppard of 1147 Duffield Crescent, Moose Jaw, passed away in a local hospital Tuesday, March 30, 1993 at the age of 69 years, Edith was born in the house of her father built in Fort Qu'Appelle on June 14, 1923. She loved horses and was well-known for her skills as an equestrienne. Edith was employed at CHAB Radio In Moose Jaw for over 20 years and was well respected in the community. In later years, Edith greatly enioyed early morning walks with her dog, Nero, in the Wakamow Valley hills. Predeceased by her husband, William Raymond Sheppard in 1975; parents: George and Maggie Flett; brother, Thomas; and sisters: Doris and Mabel.

She is survived by her son, Keith Moose Jaw; daughters: Patricia (Jim) Cunningham Edmonton; Linda (Dick) Ohl-hausen Halifax; sisters: Lilly (Errol) Cochrane Fort Qu'Appelle; Peggy (Don) Baugh Kamloops; Hazel (Lyall) Ismond Bragg Creek, brothers: George Flett Regina; and Peter (Jean) Flett Fort Qu'Appelle; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
