Reporter, Linda Heyer. Estherville (Ta.) Daily News, JUNE 19, 1975 Page 2 Newlyweds in California ESTHERVILLE Marriage vows were exchanged by Corinne Linn Shipley and Jeffrey R. Frad during a double-ring ceremony May 17 with the Rev. Ronald Flentgen performing the service at the Immanuel Church, Estherville. Parents of Corinne are Mr.

and Mrs. Rolland Shipley, Estherville and Jeffrey's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Frad, Spencer. Mrs.

Robert Klein furnished nuptial music and accompanied Mrs. Carl Simons, 'sister of the bridegroom, Webb, who sang solos. Escorted to the altar and given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a polyester bridal original gown. The crystal pleating formed the high collar and accented the Chantilly lace trim of the transparent yoke and the sheer bishop sleeves. Her gathered skirt fell to a chapel train from a fitted waistline and was adorned with Chantilly lace and crystal pleating ruffles.

Her sheer illusion veil fell from a profile of orange blossoms and lace with satin ribbon streamers. THE BRIDE chose as maid of honor, Karrie Lathrop, Spencer, Sandy Twito, bridesmaid and Marilyn Kirk, cousin of the bride, junior bridesmaid. Best man was Carl Simons, Webb, brother-in-law of the groom and Greg Walstrom, Omaha, cousin of the groom was groomsman and Scott Pettit, Sheldon, cousin of the groom, served as junior groomsman. Inez Lytle, Armstrong. Presiding at the coffee service were Mrs. Dareld Gage, Sioux Falls and Mrs. Carrie Walstrom, Polly's Pointers What does one do with gum By Polly Cramer Polly's Problem DEAR POLLY For some time I have been collecting gum wrappers and have at least 500 but what can I do with them? If I knew this it would be an unusual and pretty craft and an answer to an ecological problem. I tried making a gum wrapper chain but would like some other ideas.

D.A.H. DEAR D.A.H. You really do have an out-of-theordinary collection. Why not completely cover a threepanel screen. After the wrappers are glued on in an attractive fashion cover with clear shellac for protection.

Also a parsons table could be entirely covered with such wrappers and treated the same way for a real conversation piece. The wrappers could be used to "paper" a wall in a game or powder room. How about it, readers any of you found a use for such wrappers? POLLY. DEAR POLLY My Pet Peeve is with the lack of unit pricing on tinned, packaged or bottled foods. I know some states have such a law but I wish it was universal.

It really pays to watch and check. Often a special is offered on a large size but if one takes the time to convert the pricing into units, that is ounce weight usually, the small size could be a better buy. Which is more of a bargain a 12-ounce jar of peanut butter costing 55 cents or a 16 ounce jar (same brand) costing 96 cents? Breaking it down the large size was not such a bargain. SHIRLEY, from Canada. DEAR POLLY I am completely bedfast and have kept all the columns I think might be useful to me and have them filed in a recipe box.

I am not yet 40. Even though a an invalid I am not content to lie still and read and sleep all the time. For my last birthday I asked for a coaster wagon to hold all my hobby equipment. It can be pulled from one room to another when I move for a change of scenery. The little wagon now has a new use.

It is presently parked under my hospital bed, parallel with the head of the bed, and holds my magazines, toilet articles and all the necessities and goodies a woman in bed might need or want when no one is around to get them. This idea might also work in a nursery and be most useful. When the child grows older it can be converted to its intended use. Another useful system I have dreamed up is for doling out medication. I cut the top and flaps off a pretty blue egg carton and then used our tape gun to make labels for the days of the week.

I stuck one for each day along the upper curved edge inside each cup. On the inside ends I put AM and PM. A felt-tipped pen could be used instead of the gun. This way if medication is interrupted by visitors, the phone or what have you when the excitement dies down my husband has only to look to see if I forgot to take my medicine. M.G.B.

DEAR M.G.B. Thanks for writing. I am sure your courage and ingenuity will inspire others in a similar situation. POLLY. (NEWSPAPER ENTERPRISE ASSN.I 1.
