ROSOM Friday, December 27, 1985, Mr. Harold William Rosom, age 61 years, born May 9, 1924 at Davin, where, along with his brother. Art, was Involved In farming the land.

Predeceased by his father, John Henry (1970), and his mother, Anna (1978), Mr. Rosom Is survived by tour sisters: Claudia McCarthy; Esther (Dan) Paul; Irene (Giles) Paul; Edna Kramer all of Regina; three brothers: Edmond (Ruth) Rosom, of McLean, twin brother, Arthur Rosom, of Regina; Milton (Elaine) Rosom, of Regina; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Rosom will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his many many friends. His hobbies were curling at the Regina Curling Club (and Old Curlodrome) and travelling.

He was born at Tre-garva, Saskatchewan on January 25, 1931. He was predeceased by his father, Walter Shaw in 1939. He is survived by his wife, Donna of Moncton, New Brunswick; his daughter, Lonnie Shaw and son, Wade Shaw of Denver, Colorado; his step-daughters, Cheryl Allan of Tracy, New Brunswick and Andrea Allan of Smith Falls, Ontario; his mother, Vera Daniels of Regina; his sisters: Corlnne (Lome) Urschel of Regina and Judy (Lawrence) Purdon of Sherwood Park, Alberta. He was educated at Tregarva School, Albert School and Scott Collegiate. He loined the Royal Canadian Navy In 1949 and was honorably discharged In 1960.

He then worked for Fina Petroleum In Halifax, Nova Scotia. At the time of his death, he was Manager, Retail Services, Co-op Atlantic. Cremation, followed by a Memorial Service on Friday, January 3, 1986 In Moncton, New Brunswick. Dr. Isman graduated from the Manitoba Medical College in 1924 and In that year, commenced his medical practice at Slntaluta. While In Slntaluta, he served on Town Council and later as Mayor. He was also active In sports, curling and refereeing hockey.

In 1928, he bought his first race horse and a life-long love of harness racing ensued. His Isman Stables were known throughout Canada and the United States. In 1941, he moved his practice to Wolselev and continued to serve the public until his retirement a few years ago. Dr. Isman served for many years on the Wolselev School Board as Chairman.

The public school was named Dr. Isman Public School In his honor. Dr. Isman was a Senior Life Member of the Sask. College of Physicians and Surgeons, and In 1980, the members of the Asslnl-bolne Reserve made him an honorary chief.

Dr. Isman was predeceasd by his parents; one brother and one sister and is survived by his loving wife, Eileen; his two sons: George and his wife, Val. Gladstone, Douglas and his wife, Cathy, Toronto, one grandson, Garett, son of George and Val; and two sisters, Hattie Bloom, of Toronto, Ont. and Lily Masters of Toronto. Ont.
