For many years this route to Philadelphia was needed. Lindbergh Viaduct will serve ALL of the people of Reading and yet it can be said that it will pay for itself from new revenues it produces. In 1924 the taxes on the hillside property were The land vas unimproved. As a result of the viaduct this land is being improved with expensive residences which this year paid tajies of $28,210.00.
